I have used crystal Report in my asp.net application .but when i installed this application in another machine then it will give,error like this :

I have got a desktop application which was build in vs2005, now i am doing conversion of it to web application (vs2008). i have got around 40 crystal reports in it (desktop application).
tell me can i use them (rpt files) directly in web application or i will have to create all new reports?

We have 1 website and class project in one solution.
The assembly of web.config has point to new version of CR ver13 and also checked that the references is ver13 too.
WEB CONFIG:

However in code behind, when "Go To Definition" the imported CrystalDesicions Namespace, it go to CR version10 location.
The class project has references to correct ver13.
In the end we get error of :

The function in class has return ReportObject back to the website, because of the website reference did not really point to new version has causes this error. I have checked all references in web.config and project properties all is point to new version, but in program it seems still point to old one.

Passing the values and displaying was successful but when i click on the printer button or Export button in Crystal report viewer in my Aspx page, It is asking for Database name,Suser id and password for the Class file and which i never assigned and no there is no database to the class ... It is not allowing me to take the print out of the page..

For this i did google and found some solutions but still its not working:
what i tried:
-given full access to aspnet and network services on my root directory and reports folder and then restarted iis.

I'm trying to create a Crystal Report to use within a web application. I have the report created and have added a 'CrystalReportViewer' control to an aspx page. All the tutorials I've found indicate the next step is "Click on the [...] next to the "Data Binding" Property and bring up the data binding pop-up window". I'm not seeing a "Data Binding" propert for the 'CrystalReportViewer' control. The only property. I see even related to data binding is "AutoDataBind".

We are using secure site https, & when we click on export or print button from crystal report toolbar, it opens a window for pages selection option, In any options from pdf, word or crystal report, i choose and select All & click Ok nothing happens. just ok button gets disable, sometimes shows error

View 2 RepliesI have an vb 2005 asp application that will show a crystal report based upon a user selection which is a job number.On my development machine all work fine and the report is being shown every time.When I publish the application the web server it works for most part. Every so often for selected job numbers the report that will not display. When this happens there is a text being displayed above the business object banner:The Report Application Server failed I have checked the event log and there is no entries. Also there is no stack trace. The application seems to complete normally. I have compared the registry entries in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARECrystal Decisions and they are the same id evelopment and production. I'm getting the "Load Report Failed" Error.
I have a web application designed using VS2008 & Crystal Reports for VS2008 (Ver. 10.5.3700). I'm using Framework 2.0 for deployment.
My development system is WinXp and my deployment system is Win2003 Server.
Here is what i have done -
1) Added a Crystal Report to my project "rptReport.rpt"
2) Added a Crystal Report Source (crSource) to my .aspx page.
3) Added Crystal Report Viewer to my page, with crSource as its Report Source.
This works fine when i run it on my development machine. But Gives a "Load Report Failed" error on my deployment machine.
This is what i have already tried doing on deployment server:
1) Giving IIS_WPG full control to temp folder.
2) Publishing with "Allow this precompiled site to be updatable." checked/unchecked.
I have deployed ASP.net WebSite on Remote Server ....
It gives the Following Error when i tested by typing URL in IE ....
(The URL is college.desiresoftech.com)
