I have update panel in which i have a label and a textbox and a button
I havwe a Radiobutton list which i am using In the asynchoronous postback trigger of the update panel.
In the Control Id of the trigger I have passed Radiobutton List Id and in the event name I am passing SelectedIndexChanged
But when I click the button no event is firing rest all is working fine.
i hv a gridview in modal popup,I hv taken checkboxes in itemtemplate and written code in javascript function to checked or uncheck the checkboxes.and in pageindexchanged event calling that javascript function to maintain the state of checkboxes.it is working fine.but when i put it inside update panel nothing is happening.

Accordion pane contains tab container inside one of its panes (5th pane) to read data from user and to save that data into database. I have used a button to save data when user click on that button. For this button i have written a click event in code behind.

In my application I am using ajax updatepannel in which there is a tab container tool having 4 tabs, in the third third tab I used ajax accordian control which has 2 panel each pannel have one gridview control a Remove button. Here what I want to give delete facility to the user upon the selection of checkbox corresponding to the particular record. But when I click the button it doesnot triger the button click event of the remove button.

I added a user control on master page and inside UserControl i add a link. and did some stuff on click of link.
Again i add another Content Page that is using the user control not the master page. Inside the table i add some textbox and save values in database . and the table is in UpdatePanel. and added ad trigger

When i remove the usercontrol entering on table textbox values works fine. and again i put the same user control the link button contol doesn't work for me.
I am adding a click event (display alert on click) to a html hyperlink inside an UpdatePanel on document(ready). However, the event never gets fired when I click the hyperlink. Is it because of ASync postback? What is the correct way to do this?

here's the thing, i have an update panel with 3 panels inside... The page start with the first panel visible, the rest not visible. I have an script inse of my panel that shows some RSS, when started, it works.
On event click of one button, the second panel gets visible, the rest not visible...simulating a tab panel. but! i have an script inside my second panel just like the first one, and it seems that they dont execute when the event happens. in fact! i click on the button to show the first panel and doesn't appear the rss...

View 5 RepliesI have an application that allows users to insert data into a log. The forms are displayed inside update panels and display via modalPopUpExtenders. I am running into a problem where users are able to click the Insert button multiple times before the panel can update that a click was registered.
How can I disable the Insert button once the user clicked on it and had time to communicate with the server? The system is allowing duplicate and triplicates to be inserted into the system.

I have this download button, which is inside the update panel. due to the post back issues, the download button is not working and the whole page posts back. is there any way to remove that button alone from the hold of the update panel and make everything else work under update panel.
View 2 RepliesI have two update panels on my page. One of them contains a list of users which is retrieved from the database. When I click a search button (which is outside of the update panel) the users are retrieved from SQL server and displayed in a repeater inside this update panel. Each of the users has a button next to them to 'Edit'. The seconds update panel contains all of the fields for a user. Textboxes, checkboxes and what not.
My plan is to click the search button as you normally would, and then when you click the 'Edit' button on a user, the second update panel fills with their details. This works except that when I do this the first update panel is updated again and because it hasn't searched for any users it goes blank.
So what I did was set both the update panels to conditional, and then call the first panels update at the end of the search code in the search button click event. So that worked, but now the repeater inside the first update panel is not firing the Item_Command event, so I can't get the details for a user. How can I resolve this so that the repeater button works inside the conditional update panel?
If the gridview and print button are inside the update panel,then the print fuction is not calling.
If i place the print button outside the update panel then it is working fine.
I have the following scenarion. I have a range of drop down menus where a clietn can select. The code below is wrapped in an update panel but without this, the button click fires a method to retrieve the number of products. So for example, an item is selected from ddlCategory, the btnValidate is clicked and the label returns the number of products within that category.I have the following code for an update panel - I'm just not sure how to implement if effectively.
