I am working on a website where i used bootstrap and popup box is of jquery. whenever a popup appears on the screen it hides behind the master page.

In safari, the modal pop up is behand the svg rather than float on the svg, so far i had use the z-index and position in front end control, but none of them are working, the below is my aspx code:

I am using a master page for my website, which has a modal popup in it. i have implemented url rewriting to direct user to a child page. In this child page I am using webparts with webpart manager. All of the other pages runs perfectly smooth and also url rewriting works fine except the modal popup in this child page. Although the div is hidden (other pages do not show MPopup on load), here in this child page the modal popup remains statically displayed on the web page. When the particular link on master page is clicked the screen darkens, but the modal popup fails to load. I could see just a small lined colour of the modal popup.

I have tried all sorts of z-index but nothing seem to have worked i have changed z-index from 0 to 99999999and nothing have changed and so I resorted to required field validators and watermark but how to show that on top of modal popup and if I am doing anything wrong I have also tried this script but didint worked:

Modal popup not working, I need to open modal pop up inside a panel, below is my html, senerio goes as :
On page load on only panel with id="pnlgrid" is visible and button with id btnaddnew is visible on clicking addnewbutton panel grid is visible false and panel with id=pnlFormEdit is visible true.

I need to hide the modal popup on client using javascript.
if i use

for hiding it is throwing an error saying
'null' is null or not an object'
I am having issue with my ModalPopUpExtender's OKControlID. I have a button inside an update panel that should do AsyncPostBack. The button works fine and runs server side code but it causes full page postback. How do I solve this issue? I want the 'OK' button inside the modalpopup to call the serverside code and update Label control 'label3' without causing the page flash. Given below is my code;

This context menu is bound against an ASP.NET treeview adding a context menu to all items.All contained within an update panel.In order to select the item when right clicking, I am using JQuery to parse the postback from HREF that would normally fire when the tree item is being clicked, and using eval() against this HREF.This results in a post-back to IIS. Immediately after is my JQuery code for displaying the context menu.The context menu appears briefly however goes as soon as IIS returns the updated page data.Just after some general advice on how people think is best to approach this. I can avoid this by making users LEFT click the tree node prior to right clicking it, but that just seems unintuitive.
I am using VS 2010 with .Net 4.0. I am using a HoverMenuExtender to display a text but just after the page is loaded, the popup panel is already displayed.

How do I tell the modal popup to ignore click events in a calendar control inside the panel targeted for popup? I'm confused because when using extender before, you had to click OkButton or Cancel to close popup. I have update panel for reason. I just minimized the code for easy review.

I look for a good way for arrangement Admin pages Items
for example Admin Upload Page consists of these sections:
* make a new folder
* delete folder
* upload file in folder
* show folders information (in a gridview)
* download test
so I think one way is showing this sections in modal
but when I tried make a new folder in modal after clicking in create folder button modal disappeared.
Is there any way that modal doesnt disappear until user click close button?
I mean I want modal to behave like a page.
If there isn't a way what to do for classification sections?
I have 4 modal popups on a form and one of them have update panel, inside that update panel i have some form elements such as label and text boxes and one reset button.
Reset button will clear the data of form elements and i kept that button as AsyncPostBackTrigger for that update panel.
But when i click on that reset button it opens all other modal popups also

View 1 RepliesI am using model popup to allow user to input there information . In this model popup . I am having two option Like OPtion-1 and Option-2 . When User will select Option-1 a panel should open on modelpop up to take Option-1 Detail .Simillarly When Option-2 is pressed another panel should open where User Can fill data. User Ca Fill only single option either OPtion-1 or 2 .
How I can do this without postback and without model disappear. I don't want to use radio or checkbox button .I want something good looking and with working function.
I just added a panel with the ajax modal popup extender and rounder corner extender. It worked great! I then added a second one named completely different and using two different buttons for the TargetControlID. When i run the page, the first one that worked fine does nothing and same with the second when I click either buttons. No errors, etc.
So i want to see if I can have two of these or not? What would cause it to stop when adding another panel with extenders?

View 4 RepliesModal Popup user control (its a message box) on top of a modal popup with javascript that maintains postback on a scrollable div all inside of an update panel causes my page to flash on postback of the user control. If any one of the peices (user control, modal popup, javascript) are missing everything works fine. The javascript is maintaing scrollback on a scrollable listview on the page. A modalpopup is shown on top of this main page that is for report parameters. The user control is used for validation and is displayed if a parameter is invalid. I know this may not be the best design, but it can't really change unless its a minor change. Heres the js if anyone wants to see popup or styles let me know.

I have an ajax modal popup extender in update panel. The modal popup extender has a label, checkbox and a dropdown list. When i open the popup first time (i.e Page_load) and select something and click on ok the data is populated correctly in another grid. If i open the popup second time and select some data and click on ok it is populating the grid with the current selected data as well as previously selected data.
