I have a multi view with 2 view in my page. when page is loading first view is set active. by click on a click I set active second view that contain AsyncFileUpload1. but UploadedComplete event doesn't fire. This control works outside of view correctly but into view doesn't work. I have to use multi view and this 2 view in my web page. what can I do?
I Used AsyncFileUpload(one of Ajac Control Toolkit Controls) to Uploading User's Image. this works well. But i want to change the image url of an image contorl to uploaded image url. how can i perform that? I put Image control in a Update Panel:
[Code]....
in C# code I wrote these:
[Code]....
But it does not work. Image is like Previous. Note that ImageOperations.ResizeFromStream() method resizes and saves the image to a specefic folder. actually I should trigger a Postback to Update the Update Panel but How to do that. I usedUpdatePanelNew.Update(); but it does not work!
I'm trying out few things with Ajax Controls.I have 10 Images in a folder inside the app. I'm using an update panel control to display the image in fadein and fadeout . I want to create an animation like, moving image inside the update panel from right side to left side with a link under it. If the user clicks that link, it has to show the image in full size.
I develop an ASP.NET web application. The server side receives a stream of image data (JPEG frames as byte arrays).
It should processes them and send the images to the client side periodically.
For displaying these images on the client side I tried to use an approach similar to this described in the post "Improve your Image(s)" (http://steveorr.net/articles ImproveYourImages.aspx) by using an auxiliary ASP.NET page for the purposes of the server side image processing.
When I used a client side button to request the image ocntrol (imgCameraCapture) update with its URL pointing to the processing page (GenImage.aspx, as in the above post), everything worked fine (with exception of the whole page re-rendering on each button event). The image was updated.
For a periodic update of the client image control on the main page I put in an ASP.NET AJAX UpdatePanel andset it to update conditionally by triggering to an ASP.Net AJAX timer (10 seconds) event in order to achieve a partial page update (just the image).
II used the timer tick event handler to update the image by invoking the separate ASP.NET image data processing page there as in the button click event handler. But in the timer tick event handler the processing page was not invoked and the image was not updated.
This is the C# code behind executed in the button clik and timer tick event handlers:
I am using asp.net with vb for developing a website
I have a registration form in which i need to enter birthdate... m given an icon representing a calender and when the user click on that icon(image button) a calender should pop up and the selected date should be entered in the textbox in dat form..
I want to know that how to dispay the all images from the folder available on ftp to the web page.
Ex :
There are 5 folder are available on FTP site. If I want to access the folder A with all images. How it it possible ? The Image should display on slider.
I am using SlideShowExtender and I am using a Slideservice webservice located also in root folder. It works fine. My image folder is in ROOT FOLDER. But I have member webpage folders and a general web pages folder. Now, when I click on webpages of any of these folders, the slideshowextender stops working because it looks for my IMAGE folder in those Webpage Folders. I know this happens because I can see it trying to download the image from that URL which DOESNT EXIST(looking for my image folder in webpage folders).
How do I make a relative URL for the images so that the slideshowextender still POINTS to the ROOT FOLDER of images and displays images at all times.
I cannot make the slideshowextender work when I am logged into the system.
I am having problem Using AJAX SlideShowExtender Control to retrieve image from Databases with querystring which passes query to an ImageHandler.
all my images to display are stored in database and I can retrieve them from Database using Gridview and so on. but using AJAX SlideShowExtender Control to retrieve image from Databases is a problem.
for example this code in code behind;
[Code]....
The Bold part of the above code is the problem...
[Code]....
Actually this should pass the query to the ImageHandler.ashx class created in a folder Handlers in my Project.
the other two ...
[Code]....
slides shows perfectly because the Images are stored in the Filepath.
but I don't want to be storing my Images in a folder in my website but in database.
how to use AJAX SlideShowExtender Control to retrieve image from Databases?
whereby a querystring is passed to the Imagehandler that retrives image from database and resize them?
I am trying to set background image of panel in following way
But as code shows i need to show the image each time in server..how can i set bmp as background image directly..as it might create problem when deployed on server
Dim bmp As New Bitmap(1500, 2500) Dim g As Graphics = System.Drawing.Graphics.FromImage(bmp) Dim img_converter As New ImageConverter() Dim bytes As Byte() = DirectCast(img_converter.ConvertTo(bmp, GetType(Byte())), Byte()) File.WriteAllBytes(Server.MapPath("~/Images/OT1.jpeg"), bytes) pnl001.BackColor = Color.White pnl001.BackImageUrl = "~/Images/OT1.jpeg" pnl001.Attributes.Add("style", "background-repeat:no-repeat")
I want to use button instead of filuploader control, so I tried the html this way and i got it right. But my challenge now is how to code it on code behind
My problem is that it didn't insert image name in database it save some unknown Characters in database. So when I want bind my image from database it didn't show image .
I'm having a problem where users with a slow connection aren't getting my image feed properly.i'm sending them new images every second to a picturebox inside an Ajax Update panel, using an Ajax Timer.so if their connection is really slow, one image doesnt load fully before the next one comes in, so they never get the whole picture...And for people with a faster connection, I would like to increase the update rate, and currently I see no way of dynamically setting the update rate.

I am trying to put a default image in an Image control in asp.net and it should show that particular image on the page when no other image is assigned or no image available in Database.
I know how to display an image in gridview from image path in database. Now, I want to display an image in an asp.net image control from image path in database. Can anyone point me to a tutorial? I haven't been able to find one that explains how to do it when I don't know what the image path will be. The images are in the root folder.
