I want to use the all the default functionalities of autocomplete control from toolkit, also want to customise it.For e.g. i want to add few more properties to it or customise the servicemethod parameters.Is there any way to do it?
View 3 RepliesI can't get AJAX CT Autocomplete to work. The problem is when I start writing in textbox nothing happens. The frist problem I had experienced was when I tried to Add AutoComplete page method I got an error: "Cannot create page method "GetCompletionList"...". Then I tried creating it manually, but still nothing happens.

I am tring to use Jquery autocomplete into my asp.net 2.0 application, I have all necessary file in place, I tried to worked on , but it seems like this is not working,can some one tell me that is asp.net 2.0 application without using AJAX toolkit works with Jquery autocomplete or it does not work?Note: this is plain asp.net 2.0 web application, it is not using AJAX.

I am having issues with the autocomplete extender from the toolkit. I am using it to extend a textbox. I added a web service to the project that returns some values as a string().It works if I run it locally on either my development server or my production server, but when I try to run it from another machine the autocomplete box does not popup. I have other ajax extenders running on the page and they are working properly. Is there a security setting I need to set to get the autocomplete extender to work for the IUSR?

The bad news...
I am facing the following problem.
When the AutoComplete Ajax Control gives the Popup Box after typing few characters in the "CustomColumn" input, and if the grid row is near the bottom of the grid, the popup box will be truncated, or it will not be shown at all. This is becuase the height of the popup is bypassing the bottom edge of the EO.Web Grid Control.
I am sure this can be solved by styling AutoComplete Control. I tried to change the style, and it is now completely messed up.
How I can ensure the the AutoComplete Popup Box will be visible even if it is near the bottom of the grid ?
The Ajax control toolkit tab panel automatically inserts a space by all four corners of the body. the problem is the items text in the combox box is having a square beneath at the second character which is hindering the visibility of the list. but the square is not appearing in the text area.
Adding an Accordion only creates the outer most tags. I then have to add the headercssclass, contentcssclass etc. info. Then i have to manually add <Pane> tags, and then add Accordion Pane controls. Using VWDE 2008, is there a way to customize the control so that adding the Accordion control automatically adds this other info? Ideally with 2 Accordion Panes to start, but even just getting the various Accordion properties and the <Pane> tags added would make it much more <Pane>less!

I have a sample Microsoft Word document which has several paragraphs.
When I click the button "Paste from MS Word (with cleanup)" on the Editor, <br/> is inserted as the HTML instead of <p></p> i.e. HTML paragraphs.
I would like the MS Word paragraphs to retain their meaning and have a <p> instead of <br />.
(By the way, they are kept if I do a standard Paste, but then a lot of other obscure characters are inserted into the HTML)
Can I use the latest AJAX Control Toolkit on a .net 2.0 project which will be deployed to a server with framework 2.0 only? If not, where can I download the latest AJAX Control Toolkit for framework 2.0?
