AJAX popup appears and then immediately disappears
I have made a calendar extender that is hooked to a textbox and is activated when you click on a img button. But when ever you click on it the first time it shows and then immediately disappears.
View 3 RepliesI have a modalpopupextender and I want to show a panel after a postback which works but once the panel is shown it disappears immediately. Upon reviewing the markup, it seems as though some inline styles are being set.
style="display:none; position:fixed"
If I edit the display attribute and change it to block then the panel will displayed with all its rendered content but I need it to display after a postback. After troubleshooting the only conclusion i have is that the modalpopupextender is setting the inline styles, because when I turn off the modalpopupextender, then the Panel will show correctly.
<asp:ModalPopupExtender ID="modalPopupExtender1" runat="server"
We implemented Modal Popup in Sharepoint 2007 as a part of one of the User controls. Issue that I am facing is on IE7 the popup appear on botton left hand side of the browser screen. Popup itself is grayed. It works fine in IE 6 i.e. popup is center positioned and enabled Does any body know if this is a known issue with IE 7 and how to rectify this issue? below is the ASCX code for the user control

I am having an issue with people visiting my site using ie8. It appears that some of my pages seem to render, then disappear. It is only happening in IE8. I looked up a few things on the web and found a few bugs within the browser:
http://edskes.net/ie/ie8overflowandexpandingboxbugs.htm
I tried implementing the changes but am still having issues. I suspect it is something within the styles of my controls pages or within the CSS file.
Currently having problems with a modal popup. When you click its target control it will show up the hide itself again.
View 6 RepliesI"ve stepped through the code and it would appear that there's another postback somewhere on my MasterPage, the Popup is on my Child page, therefore it gets killed.
What i'm trying to do is on my default on_load, check for a cookie and if there isn't one, display a Popup. It seems that the child page renders before the Master???
Anyhow, I don't really want to put the code for the Popup in the Master after the rest of the controls have loaded since its only needed on the one page.
*edit* I added a button and the on_click does the exact same thing it pops up and disappears, I cannot step through the Modal process
here is my code
<asp:LinkButton ID="changeStatusLinkButton" runat="server" Text="Change status" />
<ajaxToolkit:ConfirmButtonExtender ID="cofirmButtonExtender" runat="server"
TargetControlID="changeStatusLinkButton"
DisplayModalPopupID="modalPopupExtender" ConfirmText="" Enabled="True" />
<ajaxToolkit:ModalPopupExtender ID="modalPopupExtender" runat="server"
[Code]....
and when I select something in my statusDropDownList, (it has AutoPostBack="true") and my modal popup disappears.
i use Ajax extenders such as Modal popup and onMouseHover on couple of my aspx pages.
When i redirecting to one of these pages, the PopupControlID (which is a panel) sometimes appears for a milisecond until the whole page loads.
How can i hide them when their pages are loaded?
I would like to create a website which shows an image and it disappears and then another images appears which then dissappers and another is shown...can someone point me in the right direction for this please?

HTML Code:
<asp:UpdatePanel ID="udpEditModal" runat="server">
<ContentTemplate>
<asp:UpdateProgress ID="UpdateProgress5" AssociatedUpdatePanelID="udpEditModal" runat="server">
<ProgressTemplate>
<div style="text-align: center; color: Red; font-size: 12px; font-weight: bold; position: relative;">
<img src="images/ewestcor_loader.gif" alt="Loading" />

I have a base page in which i have a listbox. The base page is also having a modal popup extender. When the modal popup extender appears over listbox, the listbox appears through modal poup. That is, only for listbox, the popup extender becomes transparent.
View 1 RepliesI have a relatively simple AJAX accordion control running on a C# website. It works perfectly on Firefox, Chrome, IE, but not on Safari. On the iPad and iPhone, the accordian expands, but then almost immediately collapses again. It is supposed to stay open (and does so on the other browsers). After expanding, the page looks like it is refreshing (I can see the bar at the top).I have other Ajax controls on the page that all seem to work fine. I have not put in any other code to expand or collapse the accordion control. This page uses a masterpage, if at all relevant.Here's what the properties look like up to the start of the panes:
<AjaxToolkit:Accordion ID="AccordionStat" runat="server" SelectedIndex="-1" RequireOpenedPane="false"
I am using UpdatePanel and UpdateProgress on my webform. On my page_Load, I am checking some of the session variable if thats null then I have to redirect to my other page. Now, as I have updatePanel, we cannot use Response.Redirect so I have this code to redirect to my other page after checking that session variable.
[Code]....
But the problem is that my page continues execution after this line. I want to immediate transfer my page to this other page just like Response.Redirect but it keeps executing and redirects at last. If it comes to this line of code, I immediately want to redirect to my other page.
On my aspx page I have a slidshow extender.
In the code behind I am filling a data table from the datbase and using GetSlides() Method to show the images in the slideshow.
The problem is I have a file upload control on the page as well. When I upload a new file I am expecting it to show in the slideshow after
postback but it does not. Only when I click refresh again or cause another postback the second time does the new image show.
My code behind
private
static
DataTable tblData =
new
DataTable();

I have the following source below a YouTube player out of AJAX MODAL POPUP PLAYER EXTENDER and a second procedure to AJAX MODAL POPU EXTENDER as can be seen below:
[Code]....
Except that when I click the button to open the internal player to EXTEND AJAXMODALPOPUP it is being hidden behind the player's default page which is outside the AJAXMODAL POPUP EXTENDER The doubt would be how to fix this problem - I'm working on this project in VS2008 on a Windows XP Pro Service Pack III.
I have a small standalone development project and am designing a form page in it.
It has a CalendarExtender, I notice that when it is initially popped up it is blank appart from the left/right arrow.
Pressing an arrow and the month appears OK and from then on it's OK.
If I create a brand new project and paste the code in it then works OK.
So it must be something in my project I think.

i have to two buttons in aspx page. i added ajax functionality to the page. but now thesee two button appears twice when i run the page.

View 4 RepliesI have an asp:UpdatePanel in my .aspx page.Within the panel I have placed an infragistics ultrawebgrid control.Upon clicking a button (placed outside the panel) , I have to export the data in the grid to excel.I am using
UltraWebGridExcelExporter(Infragistics object) for this. The export will occur only with full postback.For this I have added a PostBack tigger for the button to the update panel.But once the export is complete, if I change the selected item in a dropdownlist(Autopostback="true") in the same page,the updatepanel gets invisible.
I have a page with dynamic web user controlsThat WUC has 12 ModalExtenderPanelsall of them work except the last one. What happens is when I click on the panel anywhere it disappears.The rest of them work and the code looks identical.Code:

So I got 2 updatepanels on my page. In one there is a Timer which updates for example a label. In the other one there is a dropdownextender. Everytime the timer ticks while the dropdown menu is displayed the menu disapears. I attached the sample code below....any insights on this? And yes, the dropdown and the label need to be in two seperate updatepanels....
