Control 'Repeater1' does not implement IPageableItemContainer.
I have a gridview that I want to implemenet a custom pager template using the data pager. How would I go about implementing the IPageableItemContainer, where would I put the code, in a sperate class, in the page class that I am implementing the gridview in and how to implement the code on a gridview.

DataSource (IList)
The control implementation must render each row using the template specified in RowTemplate passing the corresponding object in the DataSource list, so that, if I have a property called Name in the passed object, it would be accessible with a Eval("Name").

I have two comboboxes say DDL 1 : Artist , DDL 2: Albums and a Gridview containing ( album name, artist name, no.of tracks, year, etc), What I want to achieve is: when an option(artist1) in DDL1 is chosed, then the albums related to DDL1 needs to display in DDL 2 and also it must update the appropriate values in the gridview( artistname, albums(album name -no of songs, year)etc...(language: Asp.net(VB)-Sql server ).

I have read many online articles showing how to implement custom paging with stored procedure and objectdatasource control. So I know the benefits of custom paging on large result sets and I know how to implement it.
In my application, I have a stored procedure which is using ROW_NUMBER and taking parameters such as startIndex, pageSize etc. I also have method in my DAL who call this stored procedure and on my page I have GridView and ObjectDataSource control and they are calling DAL methods and everything is working perfectly fine.
Now I want to implement GridView paging without ObjectDataSource control by calling the DAL methods manually. I dont want to use ObjectDataSource control because I need manual access to the DataTable my DAL methods return which I think I dont have if I use ObjectDataSource control.

I am successfully using the well-documented Page_Load technique to apply onmouseover behavior to ImageButtons that behave as normal links or buttons. It works like this:

PROBLEM: I have a Login control with Username, Password, and an ImageButton named "LoginButton" for the Login Button. I want to apply the same onmouseover behavior to the Login Button as I do other buttons on the page. When I try to use the same programmatic syntax as above, I get this error message:
The name 'Loginbutton' does not exist in the current context

May be this question sounds silly, but I want to add an event for the Dropdownlist web control (using VB.Net) to implement Click event. I have a Dropdownlist control with some items. As soon as user selected an item, it should display some records based on the selection. Currently I am having a Submit button and user has to hit on that button to see the records. I want to remove the Submit button and wants to see the records as soon as the user choose the item in the dropdownlist
Dropdownlist is coming with default event "SelectedIndexChanged" and it is not helping me to achive what I want
