What are the settings in web.config file or fckconfig.js file to upload image using fckedit in asp.net
I had download dll file for fckeditor and used in the website, bt while using in website, it doesn't allow me to upload image..
i don't know how to upload image to fck editor and save picture to project.

I am using FCK Editor (version 2.6.3.22451) in my asp.net 3.5 application.
While using upload option in the insert image modal popup, is it possible to upload the file to an external server, e.g. outside my virtual directory (anyhow, for example using FTP credentials).
I went through the documentation and looked at the asp.net/webmatrix pages but could not find a RichTextEditor.
Is there one built into WebMatrix or can I just use the AjaxToolkit Html Editor or another 3rd party editor?
a. how can i customize the image buttons in the HTML Editor like adding a flash button, windows media player button, image button and silverlight button and when i click on it shows me the wizard to add the embeds.
b. how to make the HTML Editor contents saved directly to the datbase, and do i have to change field type from the ntext type?
c. i am using asyncupload for uploading images how can i make it saved to database too and which datatype i need to make it? or can i save the physical address for this image?

View 1 RepliesI'm using a slightly modified version of Valum's upload [github link], I've modified it to upload to a database but haven't modified the javascript that it is using to get the file into the Request as an InputStream. The following line of code is failing in IE 8 but is confirmed to work in Chrome. using (Image imgInput = Image.FromStream(Request.InputStream)) The error received is "Parameter not valid". It appears to be having an issue with the Input Stream being used but it exists/has data (not sure how to validate if the data is good or not).

I have created an ADMIN page using which the admin can edit the webpage content whenever and from wherever he wants. The only problem is that whenever he adds a new record to the database, the pointer which points to the new line on the webpage goes out of synchronization.

see those three pointers in the extreme left were exactly before the first three lines but as soon as I added the last line i.e. added a new record in the database..those pointers became unsynchronized. I am using ASP.net + C# +MS Access DB and my table contains 3 fields ID, IMAGE, STATEMENT

My scenario is user select image from the image gallery and opens with the image editor, after edit the image and save it back on the web server. Image editor must have a paint brush. Crop and resizing of the image is not necessary. I am looking for such a tools for the last 3 days, but not able to find any. I will go for paid software also.

I'm having an image in my page displayed to clients form a folder under same apllication folder,I also have a form in the same page that accepts an image file to be uploaded. The image that is uploaded via this form should take the place of the image that's displayed in the page with the name newly givven at runtime. The new image should be uploaded in the same directory with the new name provided, which means it overwrites the previous image.

I need to resize a photo selected by a user with a fileUpload control and upload to a database. What i can just do now is upload the image to a database table. Imjust trying to find out how to code the image resizing part and when i say resize, i mean the dimensions and file size.

I'd like my datalist to be auto-rebind after the images' been uploaded so people could see the changes immediately. Also because this is a feature for admin there is a delete button in the datalist. I used updatePanel for this.
I put __doPostBack('" + upnlUploaded.ClientID + "','') to the javascript so when Images have been uploaded the update panel will postback.
I also have the following two lines to make it working...
