View 1 RepliesI was wondering if anyone could help me. I have a template field which has four itemtemplates that each hold a label in a gridview. These labels are always constant with the same strings. What I want to do is change the css formatting of these four labels depending on the value of a column. So the css formatting would have to be done for each row, not the whole column. I bind the gridview to a dataaccesslayer so there is no sqldatasource on the page. Does anyone have any idea how to do this and where it would be done. I will have the dataview with the data sorted in the correct order. The actual column that is used to alter the CSS will not be in the gridview although I could assign it to the datakeyname if that makes it easier as the data is not sensitive.

I am having gridview and i have check box for each row. There are 2 buttons ,accept and reject outside the gridview. If I click accept button, all the checked rows fields value should change to accept and if i click reject button all the checked rows column value should change to reject. I have a DropDownList for suppliers; suppliers can be active, or inactive. I have a checkbox to toggle between all suppliers, or just active suppliers.

BindDDL() also gets called in page load. The checkbox is unchecked by default, so when I first navigate to the page, only the active suppliers will be selected. When I click the checkbox, the page post posts back, but doesn't change the data in the DropDownList (still only active suppliers).
I've run through the debugger and it's hitting the right if statement, just not updating, and I don't know why. I've tried a Show all/active dropdownlist and event handlers, and neither do what I want them to do. How do I fix this?

how to show/hide TemplateField on server side
i have radgrid in my asp.net web page with some columns and rows in each row i have some checkbox that they are in one column. so i have one checkbox in each row and column.
i want when the check box checked, write in header that checkbox(in that column) write the number and so in that row, write the diffrent number. i want it occure client-side.
I need to make sure only one checkbox gets checked in a GridView. I have tried a solution on here, but I get an error. The other is looping through the checkboxes in the gridview to get the value, in this case, a date.

I a using Gridview bind to a dataset. For this example, I am only setting up two columns.
1. Edit button
2. A template field that will display "No" and in Edit mode will show a checkbox.
When I run this code... the page is displayed... I click on the edit button... the row changes to edit mode and I CLICK the checkbox (can see a it checked).Then click on "Update" Button... which takes me to GridView1_RowUpdating event. If I check the status of the "box"... it's checked status is ALWAYS false Why?

View 4 RepliesI have problems with GridView control which has template field with checkbox in it. My primary concern is that same code works for all the other GridView controls I have in different webforms, but not in this one.
This code is supposed to get the identities (ID column in GridView) and then get the values of first two selected and finally redirect them to another webform as querystrings. I double checked the GridView and they are identical (except they are binded to different datasource).
