I have one Datagrid with Footer. Footer Row Contains Input fields with one Button to add New Values. I have button click event but not getting fires. my code follows:

When I work with the tab Ajax control, and in one tab, I have a Repeater: <asp:Repeater runat="server" ID="rp1" onitemcommand="rp1_ItemCommand"> and in protected void rp1_ItemCommand(object source, RepeaterCommandEventArgs e) method, I add a button and it's event:

I am working on my first asp.net application. I am using a DataGrid to edit an xml document. The format of the xml is:

I have a page where I have a tab container and four tabs. the problem is on the first tab "manage quote request" I have a Gridview with the quote request general informatin listed and have a template field created with a link button to databind to the formview quote details. the porblem comes in when after I click on the select linkbutton. the Formview loads right. Then Whe I try to click on the edit linkbuttin in the form view I have to click it twice to change the mode to edit.

I have been using a datagrid on various pages. For some reason it stopped working. When pressing the Edit to make a change to the record, the page posts back two times and the record does not go into the edit mode. I am using IE 7 for my browser. Below is my code.

my requirement is by pressing Edit button one column in the datagrid should come under edit mode. After editing the data by clicking on the update button it should update the data in the database, like wise by clicking on the cancel button it should cancel the edit process etc.

how many times itemDataBound event calls exactly, if my datatable have 2 records it is calling 4 times , first time in item index 0 , second time it is 1 and third time again it contains index 0 and forth time it is 1. so, could anyone please help me how the itemdatabound event actually works,

It doesn't seem to work, when I debug, I can see that the page is doing a PostBack but the method that suppose to be taking care of the select index change doesn't seems to be fired. I have a datagrid that is supposed to display the list of uploaded word doc containing a specific word , this sort by the one having the greatest number of occurences(relevance).
It should allow the user to download one of the file by clicking on the button column .But im unable to get the text appearing in the datagrid nor the one in the button column

Data grid with mulitple texboxes per row.
Each textbox has a TextChange() event wired up for data validation.
These events fire just fine, the data validation works just fine.
My issue is this: User enters text into TextBox1 one then tabs into TextBox2. The cursor appears for a split second inside of TextBox2 then disappears as focus is being set somewhere else on the page. I'm not sure how that change of focus is happening.
In this scenario, after tabbing out of TextBox1, how can I maintain focus on TextBox2 (and then subsequently TextBox3, TextBox4,etc..)

The problem is, this button works with 2 clicks, not one click
