I have developed one simple application in that i am using mysql database. but my database size more thatn 4,50,0000, as well as ecah and every second my database is updated i.e record ll be added to the table how can i get the details for one single click.

I have a listview that has been constructed using tables. I have set the DataKeyNames="SomeTextField" among others. This column is currently not visible in the ListView.
I'd like to populate a textbox on the click of any listview record with the contents "SomeTextField" column.

I have a datagrid in aspx page.Inside of datagrid i am using around 15 controls such as Button,dropdownlist and text box
controls.Once the datagrid binds then the events in the aspx page not firing.Issue occured when the number of rows greater than 500.The number of rows less then its works fine.

I have 65 columns in the grid, if the columns are reduced to 20 then the speed when accessing from client is more or less similar to that accessing from web browser. Does it mean that all this performance issue is due to the data only ???

I have data grid with page size 15. I need to find total number of record(s) in a grid. How to do it?There is two ways to do:
1) Here I have used LINQ. So calling stored procedure again and we can done using .Count () property. But here I don't want make call to data base again.2) Creating our own logic like here I have done like:
(dtgCustomerSearch.PageCount - 1) * (dtgCustomerSearch.PageSize) + dtgCustomerSearch.Items.Count
The above result gives me correct result only when I am on last page.
I am having some issues with the performance. I am binding a Gridview with around 200 records and it is taking a long time. At one time I only display 10 records on the page, but I bind all the 200 records.
Generally what is the number of records that should be bound to a gridview ?
I have two tables
Employee Table : ( EmployeeID,EmployeeName,... Etc )
Bonus Table : ( BonusID,EmployeeID,BonusDate,Bonus Reason,... Etc )
I wanted to list the bonuses in a gridview, so i made a query to return list of bonus records and my data access object returns the result set as Bonus business object ( generic collections of bonus BO ). i have bind my gridview with the bonus collection.
now my problem is that collection has the property "EmployeeID" and it will be displayed but instead of showing EmployeeID, i wanted to show Employee Name in that grid. I have a gridview where i want to list the bonus records ( bonus ID, bonus date, bonus description, employee ID) ,
i wants to display the related informations of each record of dataset. That mean, dataset having rows for A,B,C and etc..
Then i wants to display the information in same Gridview of each record(A,B,C). i wrote the below my coding, it dispaly info of the last row of dataset only. pls correct the coding.

I have a user control that is common to the application. It searchs for lakhs of Items in one go from the db and I set the selected Items in a list in a session to pass on to the pages that use it. Hence making the application a tad slower. The gridview that contains the Items should have sorting, page indexing. What according to u,I should do to enhance the application's performance ?
