I'm developing a web form. I use the style sheet for the page and make the font size x-small.
But I noticed all the text boxes in the page looks a little higher than expected comparing with the font of the other text in the page.
Is there an easy way to change all the height of the textboxes on the page? and make new creation of text boxes the same height as all the other controls on the page?
Also I tried to select multiple text boxes to aligh them or make the same size, I remember I can do it in visual studio 2005 before, but now I cannot do it in 2008.
I did it be select one, and press ctrl button to select the other one, but the other one cannot be selected. Did I do something wrong?

I have grid view containing check box column as one column,a drp down and button outside the grid..
for example drop down has two options like first and second,if i select first i want to change the name of the button to first and if i select second button name should be second,,and also i want to disable the checkboxes in gridview when button name is second..

Is it possible to set the start location of all these text boxes to be the same? Currently Two and Three are aligned together, but one is not. They are all inside their own div tags as well, not sure if that will matter. The only thing that does matter is the start of each text box needs to be aligned.

I need to be able to select multiple options on a web form, but those options are hierarchical. For example:
Option 1
Option 1 a
Option 1 b
Option 2
The user should be able to select Option 1, or Option 1a, etc. Selecting Option 1 a should automatically select Option 1.

Using C# and SQL as the database.I have a page with a gridview and some text boxes and drop down list boxes. A user selects a record from the grid view I query the database and fill the text boxes and drop down list boxes.
Some fields get updated periodincally thus there is no data in those fields in the database until some time.
A strange thing happens.When filling data some text boxes gets a one tab spacing .

I registration page with company information. A second page is a referral page. On the referral page I have 8 text boxes and 2 table control. 1st table control named project table control. 2nd table control named Contractor table control. Contractor table control fields are: Sub Contractor, Sub Contact Name Sub Address, Sub City, Sub State, Sub Zip, Sub Phone, Sub Email I have create the code to query through the registration table so user search for the company they would like to refer. I have also written code to to loop through checked boxes of selected companies. Which when place a break in VS 2008 I can see each company. Then I need to make sure when user save it save all data on the page. The problem I am having is when i click on the go to referral page from the registrations page it not passing the selected check boxes to the Contractor table control

Ok this is a bit weird. If I run this on my machine using IE everything looks fine. If I publish to my server and run using same machine and same browser my multiline textboxes show for a split second correctly then they scroll horizontally and get all messed up? Why are the scrolling horizontally and why do they look fine locally?

I have a many to many table in my database called PeopleLanguage
PeopleId, pk and Languags pk each go to the own table People and Language
I know make a method call with my objectdatasource GetPeopleByLanguageId
This returns the languages that the selected person speaks and has a select
query also to lanaguageTable to get LanguageName.
I now print out the results in a datalist that is binding to LanguageName.
What i want to do is show the languages in a horizontal format with a comma after each one.
At the moment if there are 3 languages it shows each one on a seperate line / if I make it horizontal
layout I still dont get a comma. Perhaps I can use a repeater?

I have a fairly basic line graph which is bound to a SQLDataSource control. The graph displays perfectly, but I want the labels on the X-axis to display vertically rather than horizontally.
I have used the following code to try and do this but it is having no effect:

I have a report and some of the Boolean fields (both in form- and gridviews) should be displayed as check boxes (what else). Then my client calls me and says "Hey I can change the checkboxes before I print the report, what is up with that?" What is up with that, indeed? . So I check this out and everywhere I go I read the same thing, you can "disable" your checkbox, graying it out (which nobody, including me, wants) or you can create workarounds to stop the behavior and I found plenty of workarounds. The posts I have read were, I'll admit, pretty old so my question is this: "Am I missing something or do I still have to write a workaround for something so fundamentally basic that it should not even be a consideration, let alone an issue. I mean if you stick a check box in a read-only element (form- or gridview itemTemplate) it should not be editable by default, right?
