I am attaching an image to a listview from code behind, the image depends on a value from the database and there are 5 different images.It sometimes works fine and then will randomly come up with an error, when nothing has changed, the error is:[Code]....
It doesn't seem to make sense to me because ImageUrl IS a member of image. Here is my code:

I have created the asp.net application, it was working fine in the Dev environment. When i move the same application into production, it throws "BC30456: 'InitializeCulture' is not a member of 'ASP.fileretention_aspx'." error while loading the Default.aspx page. Initially this page was wotking fine, in the button click event this page is reloading, error accours while reloading the page.

Not sure how to explain this but I have a mysql syntax odbc connection bound to a sqldatasource like so:

I save the Image*URL* to the database and im trying to change part of my listview so I can display that image, every attempt ive tryed either results in server tag not well formed if I use an asp image or only the url path being displayed if i use a html img control. How can I combat one of these so I can display images via a imageurl in my listview?

I must be missing something very basic here.I have an asp:Image control where Visible="false." The idea is that I don't want the image to be displayed unless there is a value in a database column that contains a value for ImageURL, in which case my code behind switches visible to "true"But in IE8, these image controls are displaying as broken images, even when Visible="false". Why is that? And how do I fix this?.aspx:

I am uploading images to database....but only error that I am getting at this point when I run it is for.....

Using VWD2005 Express built a membership site that collect some info. Form is located in a membership restricted folder along with two other forms that are used to update info from Primary form. The Primary form is getting the error Compiler Error Message: BC30456: 'dvContactInput_PageIndexChanging' is not a member of 'ASP.memberpages_contactinput_aspx'.
The error has flagged this line of code
<asp:DetailsView ID="dvContactInput" runat="server" AutoGenerateRows="False" DataSourceID="SqlDataSource1"
The work around I have found instructs me to set form authentication to false in my web.config and then tells me that this is a horrible secuity issue work around. My other forms are using a details view and uploading (updating) the information from Primary form as needed to the same table/record in my SQL database but I am not getting the error with the other pages, they are loading without errors.

I previously had a datalist bound to an objectDataSource. Within the ItemDataBound event, i could quite happily access the current bound row as follows:

where ASPNETDB was the database and tblJobs the tableadapter. I could then reference the tblJobs items as job.JobId and job.StartDate etc. Upon chainging the datalist to a listview, I can't seem to find any way of accessing the same data. I've tried ListViewItem and ListViewDataItem, is this the right method or am i missing something?

Well, actually, want to use - I have not yet figured out how to know which template is coming in in the ItemDataBound event. I want to figure out if it is the edititemtemplate, insertitemplate, itemtemplate, etc. All these templates have different controls (edit and insert are the same though) and I need to set the controls contained in them.

I am using a listview to which I want to bind the MembershipUserCollection which you get from GetAllUsers(). I don't want to use reflection, I want to assign it in the ItemDataBound event of my listview. I've done this before, but with datatables. The code will be something like DataRow dr = (e.item.DataItem as DataRowView).Row. You can then access specific columns with
dr["ColumnNamehere"].ToString().
But how do you do this with MembershipUserCollection?
