I have a gridview which includes a column of checkboxes down the left side, inserted using <asp:TemplateField>. Currently I can check / uncheck the checkboxes against particular records, to select the records I want to apply changes to.
My question is, how can I add a "master" checkbox into the gridview header, to toggle all of the checkboxes together? I would like to be able to use this to check / un-check all the checkboxes together.
I have creted a checkbox for each column of grid at the top of the header in row created event. I need to check wheather checkbox is checked after button click event.

I have a gridview that includes a checkbox colum (Item Tempate).I need to be able to select row but when mouse is over checkbox column it should not be clickable. Is this possible?Think of it as an Inbox type gridview where checkbox is used for deleteing messages but when you click on subject or name it will show the message. I need the same functionality.

I have 5 gridviews, all of of them have a Checkbox template field. I already did SUM of a specific column in the gridviews and displayed the Total in the gridview footers.
There is a submit button on the page as well.(this is not in a template column in the gridview)
what i do is select some rows in the gridviews by ticking the checkbox. Then I click on the submit button and the values change in the database and page refreshes with the new Total in the gridview footers. Any row that was ticked. the checkbox for that row in the gridview gets disabled. so cannot change the value again.
Now i want a way to show a popup with a SUM of those rows that are ticked recently and the SUM of already ticked and disabled rows before the values change for the ticked rows in the gridview when the submit button is clicked.

I am trying to display to gridview some data from the database and add a checkbox column to the grid so that user can check it off.
From the database, I have fields: ClientID, ClientName, ClientEmails.
I want to display those fields to the gridview plus the extra column on the right for "checkboxes" so the gridview should show header like this:

The data it will display over a page and I need it scrollable too.
How can I do that?

Here I want to assign the above database work to my team members. When I check the above check box and press assign button ,it shows in another page means the gridview selected row shows in another grid in another page .
And once i check any check box and assign , automatically the checked row vanished from my grid view.
