i have to modify the thumbnail width and height as well as main center image and height. then the thumbnail list displays images with a small portion of mail image.i want to display thw hole image with reduced size inside the thumbnails.

Image having a photo as an image and wanting to put number blobs on and each number blob refers to a piece of text almost like labelling photo. I know how to drag and drop images using jquery but not sure how I would save the thing as a new image.

The folder contains different images and also versions of them (like a basic image of xxx1_v1 and then a modification of it as xxx1_v2 and so on...Also, there are xxx2, xxx3 ....). While displaying these images on the gallery, each thumbnail should show the higher version of the image. For example, if there are xxx1_v1, xxx1_v2 then xxx1_v2 must be on the gallery page. Further, when we click on the higher/later version of an image, it must be redirected to another page which shows the other versions of that image. Should i use AJAX / Jquery .

In another page,I had a File Upload control. When we will upload the image,then the image will be displayed in that Div section.
1.When the image is large,it should be re-size and display in that particular Div section completely.
For Eg:The image size like 350PX*350PX and 1024PX*1024PX, it should be re-size to Div Section size has 302PX*302PX.
2.When the image is Small,it shouldn't be re-size and display in that particular Div section completely.
For Eg:The image size like 50PX*50PX,100PX*100PX and 302PX*302PX ,it shouldn't be re-size and display in that Div section.
For Eg:The image size like 15PX*15PX these will appear very small.But When uploading the file these images also should displayed completely with as it is in that Div section.But the image will displayed neatly.
3.If there are any tools for these type of conditions using ASP.Net.
How can I have a small image beside each item of asp.net dropdown list.
View 4 RepliesI have a ModalPopupExtender control inside accordin control, users can add images, that I sotre the path in database(sql server) and the actual image in physical address inside web server,I automatically resize the image to thumbnail size in C#, when users first connect to the site,the see the thubmnail version of the image,which is much faster to download,and by clicking the thubnail, the hidden asp:pnael is shown with imzge in full size, I use javascript to unhide the panel and also change the image source to actual image,everything works fine in IE, but in Firefox and Chrome, the first time user clicks on thumbnail can not see the full size image,only after couple of time, they see the full size image? what could be the problem?
I am using asp.net ,C# what is the best way to achieve this?

A user will upload the images through FTP in the images folder. So my requirement is when he clicks on the link say for eg [URL] all the images should be displayed in the thumbnail format. What I did is I opened the IIS and over there I selected the directory listing. So when I click on the link [URL] it shows the list of images. But I want this in the thumbnail format.

I am using C# language with asp.net
I have an Image control on my page that should display a thumbnail preview of the actual image. The URL property of this control is assigned through the code-behind using:
imgHolder.URL = @table.Row[0].ItemArray[0].ToString();
Before moving my files to another location, this assignment works fine (The files used to be located inside the application folder). But after moving all files to another drive in the same server, the images don't seem to render any longer. I can upload/download files fine but they just won't display as thumbnails on the page.
Does anyone know a free way of doing this in asp.net?
View 4 RepliesI have a working application to save an image file to my sql database (Saves as "Original_Image" in the DB TBL_ImageGallery). I have a file limit on the upload of 1 MB. This also works great and the image is being saved beautifully. I found a bit of an issue. Being i am working on a network with 2 bonded T1 connections the streaming of images to my site, when tested internally, is effortless. I am not sure that this will be the same with a generic bandwidth. I want to store the original image size into the databse (already done) but also store a smaller sized (in bytes not actual size [Width, Height]) to my database in a "ThumbNail" column. This will allow the browser to only have to pass the "Thumbnail" sized image, obviously this needs to be much smaller than the original (ex: 1MB orignal I want to save as 12KB image in the thumbnail column), to the thumbnail img control in the user's interface.
I am not sure if this is possible or if there is a need of third party controls. I am interested in doing this as either a stored procedure or in the C# code on an event fire. There may be a better / other solution to this and if that is the case I am also interested
