Merging / Filling Pdf Form File With Xml Data?

Let's say I have a pdf form file available at website which is filled by the users and submitted to the server. On the server side (Asp.Net) I would like to merge the data that I receive in xml format with the empty pdf form that was filled and save it.
As I have found there are several possible ways of doing it:
Using pdf form created by adobe acrobat and filling it with itextsharp. Using pdf form created by adobe acrobat and filling it with FDF Toolkit .net (which seems to be using itextsharp internally) Usd pdfkt to fill the form. Use pdf form file created with adobe livecycle and merge the data by using Form Data Integration Service

I have a Web User Control that is sitting in a Tabcontainer on a web page. The user control is on tab 1 and has a listview control in it. In the listview control I have a textbox called txtWorkOrderID. In tab 2 I have a gridview with a button in one of the columns. When the button is clicked I want to grab the ID from the row I'm on and fill the txtWorkOrderID with it on tab 1. I've got things to work as far as grabing the ID and switching back to tab 1, but I keep getting a null reference when I try to put the value into the txtWorkOrderID which tells me its not finding the control. I am using .netVB in VS10. how to reference the textbox in the control on tab 1. here is what I have so far. [Code]....

I am looking for a simple (or best practice) way of pre filling some of the fields in a create form. As an example, say the create view is loaded for a model that has a datetime field. I want the textbox for that field to be filled with DateTime.Now. I don't need a javascript watermark or anything like that, I jsut want to pre fill the text box.
The GET version of my Create method in the controller just returns the view with no model so I am not sure where to set this value.I've beel trying to figure this out for a while and I must be missing something, I expected this to be really easy.

In a form I have autocomplete extender which fills a textbox. Requirement is to fill all fields of form using that extender. Like user should select company name from textbox with extender and based on that all fields should be filled.

RequiredFieldValidator does not allow me to cancel the process of filling form.
I have on applicaiton where i entered all emp info in one form I made all fields are required
for that i used RequiredFieldValidator.
but if i want to cancel the process of form filling it does not allow me.
I am unable to cancel the process. for cancel also i need to enter all the fields and then I can cancel my process of filing form .. but this is not correct, anyone cancel the emp form at any time of form filling.

i would like to move all membership tables from aspnetdb.mdf to another mdf file. I don't have connection string in web.config that points to aspnetdb.mdf. I found links like [URL], but aspnet_regsql.exe allows to move all security data to sql server, not mdf file.

Is it possible to take 10 (or more or less) pdf files in a directory and merge them into a single PDF file to display to the user? Obviously I would prefer to not pay for something if I don't have to

I am building a web page that will be presenting users two dataset results from two stored procedures in sql but the data is not similar. Is it possible to present both datasets to users in one datagridview? I am unable to do a union of the data in SQL due to the fact that the results aren't similar and wanted to see if I could work around this issue with .net.

I have several cases in my database and for each case there is binary data. I am reading binary data for each case in a byte attray and saving it as a pdf file.I can succesfully open this pdf file.

Can I read this binary data for multiple cases in the same byte aray and and save it as a pdf? Will this create a valid readable pdf?

I have two SQL queries that are stored procedures that have 2 variables that my web form will be supplying through text boxes. The two queries will produce two different results. I have read a couple of different of the MSDN articles online, including this one:

that say that the tables must be similar to be able to merge them into a single datagridview. I know that datagridviews only like one table at a time, but I was curious if anyone had found a way to merge two dissimilar tables to one datagridview or not.

I have a members section of a website where when they first register to become a member, they pick their top 5 sports personalities/stars. Then when they log in to the members area, I want to display members news which should show:
- at the top all new stories that have been their sportstar has been referenced to
- then all other news
(In the CMS, admins can edit a news story and they have 5 dropdowns of all the sportstars so they can for example have for a news story: Sportstar1=Tiger Woods, Sportstar2=David Beckham etc) So as a member, if I have selected David Beckham as one of my top 5s, then all news tagged with him via the CMS are displayed.
There may be a better way to approach it, but basically I am creating one DataSet, then firing off 5 SQL queries, each SQL query is like this:

Then in my Page Load I do this:

The problem is that my repeater is inl showing news for myStar1 i.e. it is nly showing the first table which will be called "News1".
So is there any easier way of doing this? Am I overcomplicating things?

I am using a FormView in an online quiz page for displaying the questions and RadioButtons (for answers) http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2438219/online-quiz-using-asp-dot-netNow, I need to pick the questions according to a TestID and a particular Set of that Test. The testid and the set_number would be passed using Session variables.I'm having 3 testIDs and 3 Sets per TestID and, thus, am using 9 tables to store the Questions, the Options and the correct answer.I need help on how to set the FormView so that it extracts the questions from a particular table only. Do I need to use a StoredProcedure ? I have a set of images which needs to be displayed horizontally on the page. When the set of images reaches the edge of the browser window, they need to continue being displayed horizontally even if it means a horizontal scroll bar is made (In fact it will almost always result in a horizontal scroll bar forming).
I have tried to find some way to get images to push of the side of the page but can find no way (using basic CSS) without defining a width on a container holding the images (eg. 8000px). This is not possible as the width is dynamic (more or less images may be displayed as they are added to the database)
So my solution in theory:
I now record the dimensions of the image in the database when it is uploaded to the server. Using a repeater, if I add together the width of each image as they are loaded then I can use this number to define the width of the container. Seems to make sense right?
The problem comes when I load the images. I am not great at using the Repeater at the best of times and once again it has got me stuck. I have used the Repeater ItemCreated in my code behind but my variable which I declare (dim i as integer = 1) appears to get reset each time.
When I tried in Repeater OnLoad it didn't seem to work either.

You can see I have responsed the variable in the top left and they are all 1, hence why I believe the variable is being reset.

I am working with SSRS 2005. I was wondering whether there's a way to dynamically fill the data in each Drilldown table group (ie. when its expaned on toggle). So only those records for which a user has expanded will be filled and the collapsed group's data is not retrieved because it does not need to be shown. This way one can restrict large records coming to report thereby improving the execution time and performance of the report.

In a webform I have two textbox (txtDNI and txtAPE), 2 buttons (b1 and b2), 1 gridview (myGV) and 2 functions (dt1 and dt2) that return a DataTable txtDNI will be a parameter for dt1 function and txtAPE will be a parameter for dt2 function

When I press b1 myGV will be fill with the dt1 function's datatable and when I press b2 myGV will be fill with the dt2 function's datatable myGV allows paging=true and when I press the next index (2 or other) It appears a PageIndexChanging error. So the pagination isn't automatic and I have to code the PageIndexChanging event When I use a ObjectDataSource and I connect it with myGV the PageIndexChanging error dessapears and the pagination is automatic The problem is the ODS only have a one selectfunction (dt1 or dt2) but not both and the configuration is on design time
The same happen with the PageIndexChanging event where I fill myGV again (with dt1 or dt2) and set the new index (myGV.PageIndex = e.NewPageIndex) and What is the problem?? ... the problem is, for example, when the user erase txtDNI and change index of pagination ... the PageIndexChanging event is fired and call the dt1 function but the txtDNI(parameter) is empty and occurs an error, the function returns an empty datatable and myGV is empty too for avoid this I create viewstates variables for each function, so I have a 2 viewstates and fill them when the user press b1 or b2 When user press the pagination, the PageIndexChanging event catch the viewstate variable and convert it into a datatable and the problem of the automatic pagination is controled The problem is I don't have 1GV in the webForm I have 5GV in some pages... and I try to avoid...
1. all the code in the PageIndexChanging events of each GV in the webform.
2. use the viewstate variables
