Mobiles :: Does WP7 IEMobile Browser Support CSS3?
Mar 8, 2011
Just wondering does the WP7 IEMobile Browser support CSS3 at all? I am running an application on the WP7 Emulator but it doesn't displayed curved boxes at all in the application? Is there an efficient way for displayed a curved edge box which can be dynamic to the screen size of the Windows Mobile 7 device?

I installed and reinstalled again SP1 for VS2010 I cannot get CSS3 support. HTML5 is working fine
When I open a css file, I can see only CSS 1.0 CSS 2.0 CSS 2.1 as validators.

I am wanting to design a web application (ASP.NET with vs 2010 and the 4 framework) that should work on mobile devices web browsers as well. Do I have to write 2 seperate web UI's or can I write 1, that is styled differently for desktop browsing vs mobile browsing? I am new to trying to develope for a mobile device, and a push in the right direction would be a big help. I have googled but must not be using the right terms as what I get is not very good.

I need to make my site work well on a blackberry, i haven't put too much effort into getting this working yet, but i have a few questions which google is struggling with.I've read about detecting brower type and modifying the default behaviour of asp.net controls hereHow would I go about supplying a differant stylesheet to a specific browser, should i just do this?
if (Request.Browser.Browser.ToString() == "blackberry") //pseudocode
{
Response.Write("bb.css");
}
else
{
Response.Write("bb.css");
}
This will work fine, but i feel like there is a better method, i'm sure i've read about something in the past but i can't seem to recall.I'm also considering a response.redirect to a differant page for a blackberry, which at the moment i would implemenet in a similar way.

I'm trying to learn Visual Web Developer 2008 and web site design. I have created a website with a 'contact us' section and it is working fine. On this page I have appx 6 Input text boxes but lots of graphics and such on the page. I'm trying to figure out how to get started building a simple version of the same page so that blackberries, android, iphone, etc... could fill out and submit the form. I don't want anything fancy on the form, just labels and text boxes.
I'm been searching the web and everything leads me to add a mobile web form to my project but in VWB 2008 there is no such thing (at least that I can find)

I want to open the songfile automatically with blackberry native music player ,upon clicking that link. I have searched almost all web , but i was not able to find a solution, how we can download and open a file with native medal player browser. All the code samples i got was in java. Is there any code for doing that in asp.net ? Any alternative in html? The <object> & <embedd> tags are not displaying in the browser when i run the project. So, i think it won't work ? Is there any possible solution for that.... Suppose the content type="audio/mp3" . can any one specify code for that ?
When normal downloading, again Request Entity Too Large Error appears. It's not bcoz the file is large, Itz only 344 kb. Still its not working.Why is it so?

wanted to know what is the easiest way to interface a mobile phone device with an online system. I have literally NO knowledge in this domain. However, I am brainstorming on possibility of an online application that will allow me to backup my data in nokia set 3110 such as my Address book in the application and restore it. This I want to achieve without connecting my phone to any PC. I am thinking on some way to achieve this by leveraging mobile phone line only. I beleive it may require my application to connect to mobile phone through mobile phone network. Currently my mobile phone line subscriber is offering Address Book backup/ restore service with some charge. I want to see if I can replicate similar features. I would really appreciate if you can give a direction to my random thoughts.If anything is not clear then please feel free to inquire. I look forward to your kind response.
