The database is created using visual studio, so how to display the picture in the web form after searching Search Food -> Display results with combo list to choose the food (example choose chicken rice) - > Web form display details of the chicken with a button to show/hide the picture of the chicken rice.

So, if you have an .aspx file, it will be converted to HTML/CSS/JavaScript. I have experience with the latter three technologies put into a rather dull text file and rendered by a web browser. My question is how much HTML/CSS/Javascript coding would I have to do when server-side programming? In other words, can someone using ASP.NET program purely on the server side and not bother to write for the client side? Of course, I don't care about server-side being translated into client-side, but I am wondering if client-side programming needs to be done explicitly and to what degree.

Everything is fine in IE in Windows, but in Safari in IPad/IPhone, it is viewed in a seperate browser tab, with the binary image file written as a very long string.In Windows, i know you have to select a program to use to open a new file type for the first time, is this the case in IPad? that i need to select a program?

View 2 RepliesI have created an asp.net website that allows a valid user to add blogs to an sql database and then the blog can be viewed anonymously using the gridview tool.I have also created a a asp.net mobile webpage that allows anonymous users to view the blog but the problem i seem to be having is that when i view the mobile web page,the blog which has been created with using the gridview tool aswell its always the same size as the web browser and would like it to be of a fixed size so that it doesnt expand or shrink depending on how big the web browser is.

However, I am brainstorming on possibility of an online application that will allow me to backup my data in nokia set 3110 such as my Address book in the application and restore it. i need to display image from database in gridview. i have the above html and a select query executed from code behind which displays the image.
i am storing the image path in the database table and image in a folder.

1. image size not able to set
2. the gridview image column will display image if the column data is not blank. but if its blank i have 2 default images male image and female image
so if the field is blank i need to display one of the default images depending on the gender selected
3. if the image is clicked it should show enlarged image as popup
