I have a requirement where i need to display a aspx page say login.aspx in two different Iframes of different width without scroll bar.
E.g. Login.aspx should get displayed in iframe of width 800 and 700 without scroll bar. I know I should reduce the UI elements width but the width of the UI elements should vary for Iframes. Is it possible to achieve this with a single Login.aspx by varying the UI elements width according to Iframe width?
My issue is that in my website i am trying to display a PDF in an Iframe from a file stucture menu i dynamically create. I have the menu creating itself and the pdfs displaying (i used this article [URL] and edited it for PDF and Iframe)
when i open a PDF the iframe adjusts to its size, i don't have all my pdfs the same size. some are 1 page some are 2, i've had to adjust the size of the frame to 2 pages but with 1 there is a giant blank space above and below it.
Here is my Iframe Code
[Code]....
I've tried a few methods to change the size depending on whats selected but it doesnt seem to be doing me much good.
I have set up the itemstyle with and wrap to false, but anyways the width columns grows the the data is too long. i just want to change the height of the column not the width. Here us the complete code of the datagridview
I am using framework 4 and VS 2010 and have two iframes that loads two web pages on load. I enabled scrolling and set properties of iframe this way:
<iframe src="http://iis/app1/Default_display.aspx" runat="server" width="100%" height="900" id="I22" name="I22" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" scrolling="yes" style="overflow: scroll" > <p>Your browser does not support iframes.</p> </iframe>
My problem is that when page loads I have scroll bars on iframe but when I scroll the page is not complete bottom and right part are not displaying at all I just cant see it. If there are any controls in that unvisible part of page they are moved and everything looks bit messy. How can I display 100%, complete page (like when it is open in new window) in iframe with scroll bars?
I want to embed a silverlight app into a web page and have the height/width of the div that contains the silverlight control match the dimensions of the actual size of the silverlight control.
I essentially want the div to stretch to accommodate the size of the silverlight control. I do not know what size the silverlight control will be before it loads as it is pulling in data and adding controls dynamically. I want to avoid dueling scroll bars and use only the browser scroll bars.
I need this to work in both IE and Firefox. Is there a way to accomplish this?
.I am new to asp.net.Is there any way we can limi the width of the gridview in the design mode.
I have to put 15-20 columns on the gridview. When I add columns to gridview the width shoots out of the page and the page design is seems ruined.
i placed it inside the panel and added scrol bars to it. it looks ok when debuggin i.e looks ok in internet explorer but in design mode it ruins the page design.
in above code I define format of image that user can upload .png or .jpg image and size of image should be lessthan 100KB now I want define that users just can upload images with dimension 1007*143 how I can do it?
I have an ASP.NET website. This site is fairly complex in the sense that it has all sorts of blurs, gradients and rounded corners. The content of the website is always going to be in the same area, an area within some rounded corners. The content is going to be of a dynamic height. And, I can't show any scrollbars, other than those displayed by the browser window.
The banner is a Flash movie. I want to prevent the page from flickering. Because of this, I want to only update the url of the content portion. My question is, is there a way to do this without significant re-working? I thought an iframe would be suitable, but I can't figure out:
How to make the iframe's height dynamically grow/shrink based on the size of the content Get rid of the borders / scrollbars across the major browsers.
Is what I'm trying possible? Is there a better way to do it?
I am using TabContainer with some controls on each tab (asp: labels, text boxes). When redirecting to the page that contains the TabContainer, the tabs and their content loads as expected, but when there is a postback, and the page refreshes, the TabContainer UI changes - the font size of the labels gets bigger, the text boxes become bigger and their location changes a bit (not aligned as before), and the tab header is partially hidden. I am using IE7.
I dont know if this is relevant but in some of the text boxes i use edit mask extender as well for date. Also, I have used a table inside the TabContainer for layouting the controls.
Here's the scenario:I have an asp.net webpage which displays dynamic data in a gridview.I'm using a master page to display the header and footer of the page, and this gridview is being displayed inside a div in the contentplaceholder.
The Problem:What I want is that the size of the page that is displayed remains constant for a user and must be equal to the size of their browser's available display area and the content being visible by scrolling the div.Sort of like the header and footer remain at the same position and the content inside it is scrollable.
i open a iframe in a page, from that page opend in iframe, i want the page url.means one page mainpage.aspx have a iframe, that iframe open open a iframepage.aspx page.from the iframepage.aspx page's button click event i want to referesh the mainpage.aspx page.how can i do.
I am a newbie in web development I came from win form environment. how to set tabcontainer (ASP.Net Ajax Tool) width size according to users desktop screen resolution?
My website is based upon ASP.Net and has a Jquery menu system. But the left-hand (main) menu (see www.displaycentre.co.uk) is extremely slow on IE8 on some PCs yet fine on others. No problems with other browsers at all.I know that the menu is huge but cannot understand why the speed is fine on some (even low spec) PCs and yet it is painfully slow on others. It is slow on all of my work PCs (some with 512Mb RAM others have 2GB!) and also my PC at home (which is brand new this weekend, 2Gb RAM and only Windows XP + all updates loaded so far).
My developer is simply putting it down to the way in which IE8 copes with such huge menus?
GridViewDetails uses templatefields. In edittemplate I put a button called "ButtonUpdateAdjustAmount" with OnClick="Update_AdjustAmount" in the EditItemTemplate for the "Amt to be Adj" column. There is also a textbox. My user's should be able to edit the textbox, but I also want the ability to click the button and the textbox populated with the correct calculated value. The formula varies based on the "code" column which is a dropdownlist called "DropListCode".
I am fairly new to asp.net, vb, etc...so forgive my code writing. Eventually I need to also put the same functionality on the insertrow for my gridview. But first wanted to get the edit one working. I am using templatefields for all columns and the FooterTemplate to perform the Insert New Detail Line.
I can get the functionality to work for the first data row and only if I take out the If code.SelectedValue = ... line and leave 1 static formula. However that isn't going to work. If DropListCode.SelectedValue is DNR then AdjAmt should be ((q_ordered - q_received) * cost). If DropListCode. SelectedValue is OV then AdjAmt should be (RKNumber * cost). If DropListCode.SelectedValue is NB the AdjAmt should be ((q_received - q_ordered) * cost). If DropListCode.SelectedValue is DAM then AdjAmt should be (RKNumber * cost)
