SQL Server :: Multitable Query After A Dropdownlist Item Change?

Im trying to get gridview to update always when changing to different value in dropdownlist. I get my dropdownlist values from database, so for example I have 3 choices there (name1,name2,name3)The problem is that I need to get results for that gridview from 3 different tables. I know how to query those in behind-code file and bind it to a gridview for example..but I dont know how to get it work if I have it also binded on dropdownlist where it should get the name* valuebefore being able to print the results from 3 different tables to the gridview depending of the name* value..And I can't have both DataSource and DataSourceId defined on just 1 gridview..I am using Sqlserver database, asp.net 3.5 with c#

I have a dropdownlist and a button(btnSend).

What i need to do is as follows;
1) Once i select the item in the dropdownlist, it will extract data from my sql query which is :

Once seleted,it will display everything in a gridview1.

I am trying to set the Text property of a drop down list option like this:
<asp:ListItem Value="AB" Text='<%= Resources.Get("USA") %>'></asp:ListItem>
But it isn't working, instead the Text value is literally <%= Resources.Get("USA") %> and not the string "USA".
i.e. it is not being interpreted as code.

I'm using ASPxPageControl and in each page I have a couple of grids. When Im using Sql Server Profiler each time I change Tab there is a query for each grid in each tab sent to the database. Is it possible not to load data for each grid while changing tabs ?

I have a project that queries a set of times from a database and uses these entries to populate a dropdownlist. Once the page is loaded, the user can select one of the items in the DropDownList. When the "Save" button is clicked, the Selected item value is returned to the [HttpPost] version of the controller action. This item is then stored into session. If the system returns to the page containing the dropdown, I want the saved Value to be selected in the DropDownList. What actually happens is that the DropDownList is always set to be the first item in the list.

I was wondering if there is a way to capture the yes/no values on the server side once the y/n buttons are clicked on a javascript pop up?
I am displaying the y/n pop up while using a dropdown menu but pretty much all the solutions i have seen so far use button's onClick event.

I am able to see the pop up box with the yes/no options but after i click a 'yes' or 'no', i don't see 'You clicked Yes' or 'You clicked No'.
This is the code i have so far which has been taken from Muddassar's article that uses a button, not a drop down.
I can see for button the "Confirm()" is being called by OnClientClick event, but i haven't been able to make it to work in a dropdown.
On the aspx page:

So I'm trying to add a single item to a query I wrote. The query is then pass to the e.Result of a LinqDataSource_Selecting event. This datasource is being used by a dropdown list and label in a listview.
I am trying to add a "New" field to the end of the list.
Currently I have this working, but it seems like a really messy solution. First I make a class with the fields I need:

Then I build the query:

Then a second list and query with the new value:

Finally, I union the two and set the e.Result:

By right clicking on my database i created a query in server explorer. But where are this query stored can't find them back. I should aspect that their is a folder query's like there is a folder tables but this isn't the case.

I am trying to create statitics for game downloads and am having dificulty with a sub part of my query. the goup by command is not having the disired result and i think i have been looking at it too long to see what i am doing wrong. [Code]....
At the moment it is producing each result in many rows when only 4 rows should appear. its the download column that is doing it. needs to be sub queried or something to display total in relation to month,gameid,userid.

I am trying to display this query result in an aspx page.
It is very slow in loading. Here is the query. The inner query inside the outer quesry is the problem.(Please see the underlined part in the query) - (If I remove that part it is very fast.)
