SQL Server :: Create Database Based On Dataset C#

I am reading xml file using dataset.readxml() method. after this i want to send this data to the database. I want c# code to create a database in sql sever and push watever data in the dataset to that created database.... i am dealing with many xml documents. some could be of same format.. lets say... if 2 docs of same format exists... then it shud not create new database or new tables.. it shud push the data to the suitable format...as i am a newbie its a bit confusing for me... i dont even have any idea on how to proceed with this.

I am trying to create dataset (.xsd) and link it with stored procedure in MySQL database. the problem is when i connect it it's changing the schema name. like if I have this stored procedure name or table name or whatever :
News.tbNews the builder it self change it to :
def.News.tbNews. MySql version 5.5.8, MySqlConnector 6.3.4 I searched for a solution for this problem and one of the answers was to change the MySqlConnector from 6.3.4 to 6.3.6 !!! I download the new connector 6.3.6 but it's giving me Error while installing it.

I have planned to create the job portal based on Industry like IT ,Pharma,banking,Airlines,Sales.
Option 1:
I have decided to create the seperate DB for each Industry but maintain the user account details in common DB
For example , Main DB is jobportal contains all useraccount details and common tables like country ,state ,city,designation in common Db
other 5 DB are IT ,Pharma,banking,Airlines,Sales .
Connect Main DB with all other DB..
option 2 :
Maintain all tables in Single DB only.But problem is job posting details different from industry to industry .so we cannot maintain common table for all industries..not only jobposting ..some other tables all same type of problem ..
option 3 :
Maintain Completly seperate DB for each Industries.. No relation between all DB..
Which one Best? Or any other option to do that other than these three ?

I have a paramater Country Which have options to select 10 different countries.. i am using 10 tablix one for each country .... When i select a country , only one tablix Gets visible and the other 9 tablix gets invisible.. The problem is that all the invisible tablix are calling sp that is dataset ... Cause it is reducing the performance of the report......how can i assign empty dataset to the tablix or conditionally change the dataset for the tablix based on a parameter...

I have this code :-

But the result is it only insert the first row of the HQDS dataset...then it will give this error :"Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_BRANCH'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object dbo.TS_BRANCH'.The statement has been terminated.
If I comment this line : Destadapter.Fill(HQds, "Testresult")
It doesn't give any error and also it doesn't insert anything to the database.

Using: ASP.NET 3.5, C#
I'd like to create a new server control to use in my project. Basically, it should work and behave in exactly the same way as asp:TextBox except that the type attribute on the HTML input element it generates should not be "text" but a different value (I actually intend to create several controls for several different type attributes).
So (by the way I have very little programming experience), I'm thinking I need to get the source code for the asp:TextBox control and base my new control on that, then modify the source so it outputs with my desired type attribute.
Can anyone steer me in the right direction for this?

I want to store the following code into the database:

and then get it back in the dataset and display on a page.
As of now I have successfully stored the questions with varchar(MAX) datatype but when I try to get it in the dataset i get the following error:
Failed To Enable Constraints. One Or More Rows Contain Values Violating Non-null, Unique, Or Foreign-key Constraints.
I am doing this in a ASP.NET web application.

I'm trying to make a shopping cart and i've reached where I can select the item and view it by itself and click the add to cart but I no Idea how to make the cart .I got one from this site http://csharpdotnetfreak.blogspot.com/2009/05/aspnet-creating-shopping-cart-example.html but it dosen't work with my application since i've built in my own Authentication and they use windows authentacion.

The first time I visit the site and attempt a database connection I get this error:
Exception Details: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: CREATE DATABASE permission denied in database 'master'.
But when I refresh, it all works fine. I'm at a bit of a loss. I don't believe I'm attempting to create a database, but I realise that the error may not really have anything to do with that. This is hosted at GoDaddy shared hosting. The database was created and I used an SQL script to create the tables initially and populate the data. My connection string works as I can pull data from the database, but I do have
a feeling it will be a web.config setting that will correct this.

What I am thinking is this? Is it possible for me to upload the data from an excel file to dataset of my application first, so that the user can view the data in a gridview to review it first, before the user strike the save button, to save it in the database. So, that in case there is a problem, the gridview will high light all the data with an error. So the user can easily pull out the excel and correct the data before saving it in the database.

I want to develop some reports using RDLC and for that i am trying to make a DATASET using a sqlserver stored procedure which is based on dynamic SQL. and ends the procedure like this.

As you can see at the end its executing a sql at the end so my dataset is not coming up with the columns this procedure is returning.. populate these dynamic columns in dataset so i can build a report based on it.

Environment: C#, ASP.NET 4.0, SQL Server 2008.
Here's the scenario: Buyers and Sellers (where all of the sellers have a unique D&B number).
I'm catering to the buyers, and I want them to be able to import a list of sellers based on the D&B number.
Here are the tables:
BuyersSellers - unique list of sellers - one record, no matter how many buyers work with them.BuyerSellers - lookup table - buyer_id, seller_id sets which buyers work with which sellers
ImportedSellers - temp table that holds sellers the buyer wants to add.AllSellers - master table that has all known sellers with D&B numbers (remote database).
Here's the process:
Buyer uploads list of new sellers, they get added to ImportSellers tableMatch ImportedSellers against AllSellers (valid), ignore unmatched (invalid).Add valid ImportedSellers to the Sellers table if they don't exist.Create BuyerSeller records for all valid ImportedSellers - using data from AllSellers.Delete all valid ImportedSellers, leave the unmatched behind so they know what they need to fix.
I've got the upload and import working, but now I'm a little stuck on how to do all of the matching and inserting, and do it as quickly as possible.

I am trying to write a script in Visual Studio 2008 (using a VB project) that will, upon the clicking of a button:
- An file object will be created.
-Said file object will read in a number of files from a specified file path.
-A dataset will be created and populated with fields from two columns within a database table; app_id and company_name.
-The script will read through the file names and fields recorded in the dataset, renaming the file to the app_id if the original file name contained the company_name.
The code I have so far to do this:

The problem is that currently this code will only rename the file if the file name and company_name match exactly, ideally I'd need to include a clause to make it rename if the file name is "LIKE" or "contains" the company_name. To be honest I'm not even sure if what I want is possible, or if what I have is even on the right track. So far my own research into the issue has been less than conclusive.

I'm kind of at my wits end here as it appears not many others have had this problem so it's possible that I'm missing something very simple but what is it?
I'm using SQL Express 2008 R2, Visual Web Devel Express 2010, .NET framework 4 and tell me whatever else you need to know.
I'm not being able to use add new item feature to insert an empty SQL database into my little project. It tells me connection to a .mdf file require SQL server to be installed and running on local computer. Well I can connect to server with management studio and connect to it inside VS. Database explorer will show me a database when I manually connect using tools>connect to database then data source = Microsoft SQL Server. It then shows up in database explorer. So why isn't the add new item feature working for me? What gives?
