Security :: Live Display Of Images From A Video Camera In Webpage?
Jan 17, 2011
I have to display images from a video camera in my web page.
What I am already done is, I created a folder in my severer side and continuously check for latest image in that folder.
whenever anew image arrived in that folder I display that image in my web page.
It was working when I am testing the code by dragging images in to that folder one by one.
But, when my application connected to the camera, images was coming in to that folder but my application don't have permission to take those images to display
I am working on an scenario where I want to access my webcamera and show a live video to another user. It's somewhat like conferencing. How would I write code to access my webcamera?
I know what i need but i am unsure of the way to acheive it. My idea is to broadcast live event over the internet on website. dont tell basic things like ustream or other streaming websites. I want that my sony 7 MP camera should connect to the PC and broadcast the recording live on my website
iam going to make a web site that display online live video stream.in other words, there is event in my company and this event will be display in my website by video camera using asp.net . i dont know how to do is there a special camera should i use it, how to connect this camera to my site
My project is to create a website that facilitates giving live lectures on intranet. Hence, the bandwidth is not an issue here.
Also, I have implemented some basic code of live streaming using windows media encoder SDK in a C# console application. I was able to view the streaming on another LAN PC in VLC player.
Now, how do I implement my code in the asp.net website? What I want is that in order to start the streaming (i.e., start the live lecture), the facutly just clicks on a button in a webpage. This will stream his movements to the students (via a server). Also, this will enable the facutly to view himself on the webpage.
Is this even possible? I mean it would be like : both the student and the faculty will access the same website. The interface to both of them will be different - one will start the stream and the other (student) will receive the stream.
Or will I have to create a different application to start the streaming? So it would be like the facutly will start that applicaiton to start the streaming and the students will access the stream throught the player embedded in the website.
Another question is : what player should I use to receive the stream (on the student side)? Windows Media Player (I heard that it has problems with firefox)? Or the ubiqutous flash plugin will succeed in capturing the media encoder stream?
I need the ability to stream live audio/video on my churches website. I have checked many sources online and cannot find anything that mathches my needs just right. I do not want a 3rd party software. I do not want to use the new silverlight 4 as i need to be able to deploy this now. I am on a shared hosting account so I do not have full access to the server. I know this limits the options greatly but I know there also has to be a way to do it.
Also the main need is to stream a single audio/video source but it would also be beneficial to have this a 2 way system for youth groups discussions. So the ability for the church to stream one video and the youth that are signed on can also stream there audio/video back so possibly a webcam chat type setup would be best.
I need to audio and video streaming option on my website, like registered user can upload the video through browser option and other users can view that video on website like youtube.
I am able to get a token with Windows Live Delegate Authentication samples provided by Microsoft.
Now I want to access emails (New, Read, Unread etc) from live account. How can I achieve it with the help of Windows Live Delegate Authentication? Are there any examples for the same?
The Samples given by Microsoft are not related to emails.
I have created a .NET 3.5 # web app. It has a master page, a homepage, and an Accounts folder with Login.aspx, Register.aspx etc. When I run the app Login.aspx displays but it doesn't display the Image from the Images folder, it doesn't inherit the MasterPage/CSS and when I click on the Register link it stays to the login page .I understand that this is probably down to permissions. Do I have to put a web.config file in each of the Folders or do I update the main web.config and add location elements to allow access.
I have looked at a .NET4 example and the web.config is in the Accounts folder - however this isn't working on my 3.5 example.Any links to complete ASP.NET 3.5 login, register web app examples would be great?!
I am trying to display the data in text box on web page that is coming from the live control machine, I am able to display these data in console application by using the 'do while' infinite loop and it works fine, now the same thing I want to display the data on the web page, so when data came in it should display on web-page in textbox.
Problem :
I want to write a program by using loop which will display the continuous data for two mins. period on the web page, and after the period it will stop the loop, meanwhile it also display the data on the webpage for the 2 mins. period.
I want to play my video on my web page, video is about two houre longe. the video is stored on the same server where i host the website. code so that i complete task. also suggest me best alternative to complete the same task.I am using vb.net as language in asp.net and .NET 3.5 framework.
I have a Windows program that will capture a video from a webcam as .wmv. What approach should I use to do this from an .aspx web page? I want to develop something that is a bit like youtube [URL]
I have a class that controls the webcam, storing the data in .wmv format, but this is written for windows and wants windows libraries and controls. Can I simply adapt this for a web page, using an Image instead of a Picturebox control, or do I need to use Flash or Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)? If WPF is the answer, is it worth upgrading from VS2008 to VS2010?
i need to embedd a video player on web form, that will be able to play almost every ormost of the known video/audio formats....(mpeg, flv, avi, 3gpp, wmv, wma)..i need only a single player.....to be embedded....and it shuld not use the pc's local players..
I tried passing in the name of the file via querstrying but it looks like flowplayer wants to load it before the Request.Querstring["videoName"] value is retrieved.
I want to play video / audio files on asp .net page.
client has following requirements
1) It can play all the popular formats
2) It can use installed player (if windows media player or any other) or it can run inside browser (i.e. Flash player)
I have already explored different options i.e. silverlight, Windows media services & flash player Among these three silverlight is discarded as there very few browsers having that plug in.
