Security :: Cannot Send Email To The The Users When They Forget Their Password

I cannot send email to the the users when they forget their password ( I am using .NET's Forgot password wizard), and I am using the below code in the web.config file. My hosting provider is Go Daddy and it is a shared hoting.

I can email the password in my local machine by using the forgot password wizard, but after I have uploaded all the files in Go Daddy, it does not work. That means, I am wrong somewhere at above mentioned code.

according to this thread i make login page URL....i have 1 label 1radiobutton and 1 send button now i want when users enter their password,if they enter their password wrong morethan 3 time it show error that they can't login during 24 hours ,and they cann't enter password in password textbox . and when they click on radio button and click on send button it send a massage to my email and after i send them new password

i am using the concept of sending email through asp.net on click of button.but i hv to give the email id along with the password to send the email.Is there any way of sending the email without giving the user password of email in the web config as the client may refuse to give its password to developer because of security reasons.many sites like asp.net send email to user without asking their user password how it is possible

I am using the below post to encrypt and decrypt the password.
ENCRYPT POST
Now my code is working for Encryption. But now what I want is,
When I am using Forgot passwprd functionality, I want to send the decrypted password to the respective user in the Email.
In my database table the password is saved in the Encrypted format.
I have the code decrypt code from the above mentioned post, the question is where to place in the below code so that it will decrypt it properly

I had been trying to solve this but there is a hidden key i wish someone point me to.
I had a simple membership database with users in first the Membership Provider configured for clear password to retrieve the original password .
Now a new requirement say that the password must be hashed and reset .
I configure the Membership password to hash , and Implemented the Reset Password Module.
My problem is as follow.
If the user is new registered user with the new configuration the password and the security answer is hashed.
also when I go and reset the password it continue to be hashed.
Now I thought that with new configuration if any previous user with clear text configuration , If he use the password Reset module , because my configuration now is hashed , I expected that the new password and security answer will be hashed . what happen is old user continue in clear text even if the configuration is hashed. so If I had new users everything is fine.
old users Membership Provider somehow know they had been stored in clear text and it keep change password and security answer in clear text . If I delete this user and create it , Membership Provider understand that everything will be hashed. I need to know how it know this , I need to migrate users not to delete and recreate users .
Also if there are no solution for that , I wish Microsoft Consider it in future cause it is a real user scenario, that can happen imagine a business system that related to membership user Id , deleting users and recreate them is not a solution .

Then what should link be? Like, what I want is fetch the User ID then encrypt it somehow so that the link doesn't contain the actual ID and that link will take the user to a page that will have textboxes to reset the password. i'm trying to send mass email to all my users. But i cannot send too many email at a time because I would be treated as spam or blacklisted, not just by my own isp, maybe the user's server too.So, initially i was thinking to write a loop and loop through the list of emails and send out batch by batch. But this would require my website to be stay opened until it finish.so, any better suggestion? i'm using my own server to relay the message before sending it out. is there email queining feature in my own mail server?

I want to send out an email to all users where their birthday is today. i am using the built-in asp.net (3.5) membership. All users have a profile (stored in aspnet_Profile) which contains a date/time property called 'birthday'. I need to get a list of users email addresses from the 'aspnet_Membership' table where a users birthday is today, along with the users 'firstname' which is string property in the aspnet_Profile table. i would like a list returned preferrably using C# LINQ. i am not sure how to access the birthday property in the profile table, based on the way it is stored in the db table i.e name/value columns

After pressing forgot password ,I redirect to page having textbox for email id.When I enter mail id and click on send button I want to send the saved password from database to that mail id. How can I achieve that?

I'm comfortable sending emails to individuals in ASP.NET, but recently have needed to create a function to send an email to all users in a particular role.
A couple of problems I'm having are:
My shared hosting allows 200 emails per hour. Although not an issue at the moment it could be very soon, so how can I 'throttle' my application to not send out more emails then I'm allowed to?
If want to loop through the emails and send the messages in the background of my app. Rather than have a situation where logging off or closing the browser stops the process. point me in the direction of some articles about this type of thing, my searching so far hasn't given me great results.
