Umbraco Admin UI Not Showing Tree Nodes Thumbnail?

When installing an Umbraco site, I changed my umbraco admin url from '/umbraco/' to '/myadminurl/', even before I went through the install process.
Just like it's documented, I changed in the web.config the keys 'umbracoReservedPaths' and 'umbracoPath' to match my new admin url.
Installed and everything is working fine, except for one thing: All the nodes in the trees in all sections aren't showing any thumbnails. There used to be a win folder thumb before each tree node, but now it's just empty, except for the 'packages' node in the developer section, and for the recycle bin thumb.

In my website, I have a TreeView that has this structure:
Root
|-Leaf
|-Parent
|--Leaf
|--Leaf
|--Child
|---Leaf
|---Leaf
|--Child
|---Leaf
|---Leaf
Is it possible to make the tree in a "collapsed" state where all the Leaf nodes and ONLY leaf nodes are hidden from view until its parent node is expanded? The ideal solution would be to do this without a postback, but any solution at this time would be helpful. The "collapsed" view would look like this:
Root
|-Parent
|--Child
|--Child
Expanding the Root, Parent or Child nodes should show their Leaf nodes. Collapsing the node should re-hide its leaf nodes, but leave the child nodes visible.

I need to check/select all the nodes in a tree view with minimum complexity. My tree view has 3 levels and many nodes in it. below is my code:

I need to know a way to disable nodes in a tree view when a particular node is checked (the leafs has check boxes), currently I was able to do it but my problem is I have check the check box, then click on the node in order to get it disabled, this not an user friendly at all. I want it to happen when I check the checkbox in the tree node.

I have been trying to delete nodes from a tree view that is being generated from a database. I have the code written and it works, but only on the root Nodes. It will not delete Parents/Childs/Leaf, it will if I delete the root, but I also want to be able to delete parent nodes and such.
Right now i have this code so far
Dim tn As TreeNode = treeView.SelectedNode
treeView.Nodes.Remove(tn)
I know that I can just use treeView.Nodes.Remove(treeView.SelectedNode) but was doing some error checking to see if I could firgue out what was going on. I am using VB6, I am not so worried about the database deleting at the moment. I would prefer not to use the Clear() method as this will remove all the nodes I only want to remove certain ones and keep the rest.

MainMenu is the Parent node and Tracker, Reports ... are subodes. I want that if I click the node Tracker the all it's parent nodes(NBD, EOI, Proposal, Project, Sub Contract) should expand the remaining treevew remain same.

i have a tree view with nodes beverages ,condiments,confections,dairy products and am adding a new node by entering the name of the node through a textbox and the position of the node as where to be inserted is given thru a dropdown list.fro ex.if i select beverages from dropdown list the node is added as a child node of beverages..the node being added is temporary i.e when i run the program again ,previously added node does not exist.."how to make the newly added node exist permanently..ie if i add a node to beverages or any node as a childnode it should exist permanently..when i run the prog again i shud see the node which was added... "

I am creating a gallery of thumbnail pictures and when a user clicks one I need to show the full image. What I was going to do was on click set a varible for that picture and open ViewImage.aspx what would load that image big until I discover and ImageBox doesn't have a click event. Whats the best way of acheiving showing a large image simply from clicking a thumbnail?

I want to make a website which showing thumbnail images be taken from local folder,say,'thumbnails' inside the root folder like listview items.Below each thumbnails,the name of the file would be displayed with check boxes for selecting any thumbnail images.Clicking on any thumbnails will redirect to another page where the thumbnails and the original image(with the same name in some other local folder say 'Original') would be displayed.

Now this same code i pasted in an ascx page and that ascx page i called through DNN website.That time parent node display is coming properly,but when i click on the parent node child nodes are not showing up?

I am currently developing a website for a friend of mine who is a dj. I have a login page, which works fine however i want to inplement a menu that only users with the Administrator role can view. I have done alot of research and i have found ways to stop a user from visiting a page, when they click on it it takes the to the login page. But i want to completely hide the menu from Non Admins.

I have a ModalPopupExtender control inside accordin control, users can add images, that I sotre the path in database(sql server) and the actual image in physical address inside web server,I automatically resize the image to thumbnail size in C#, when users first connect to the site,the see the thubmnail version of the image,which is much faster to download,and by clicking the thubnail, the hidden asp:pnael is shown with imzge in full size, I use javascript to unhide the panel and also change the image source to actual image,everything works fine in IE, but in Firefox and Chrome, the first time user clicks on thumbnail can not see the full size image,only after couple of time, they see the full size image? what could be the problem?
I am using asp.net ,C# what is the best way to achieve this?

I have a code that load hierarchy( nodes) into trew view.. by selecting different date, the hierarchy result from SP will show in the treeview..
the problem is even though I select a different date.. the result( node) of previous date is still showing in addition to the new hierarchy result...
it;s like the new result node is appended to existing node.. instead of refreshing the node and showing only the new result. How can I clear out the treeview nodes before adding new nodes from different date?

I have two control page in my aspx page. first one left side "tree view",second one right side " form design".Form design will change based on tree view selected index changed.i have 4 level child node(site, master , slave, space). I have seperate forms to each level of node.
cannot update tree node when update the forms. so i reload tree view.
now i need how to auto selected index change to tree node.
ex.
1 parent node
1.1 child node
1.2 child node
i have update "1.2 child node" rename to "1.3 child node"
and reload treeview so it will chage...
how set tree node.selected index = 1.3 child node....

i want to crease an admin panel. but i do not use asp.net default membership system.
i know actions enable access can be determine by [Authorize] attribute. but my admin has 10-20 controller and about 100 action.
i do not want to signature all of actions by [Authorize] attribute.
all controller must be required login if user did not login.

If I comment out the first Authorize attribute (with roles) and just use a plain vanilla Authorize, then I can access the service.

I am getting a large website developed. The develop has asked me which do I prefer either sitefinity or umbraco. The site will be similar to wikipedia where users can come and edit pages without having to login. We are in the process of implementing a CMS for our project which currently extensively uses asp.net master pages and css. Also the application is data-driven and controls like gridview and listview are used. After a little search we zeroed on two CMS dotnetnuke and umbraco. Now my question is:
Which one of the two CMS is best suited and easy to use?
Do they support integration of existing code and UI's
provide links for further reference.
