I have a gridview with 5 columns , i am bind gridview on pageload .... each row of gridview has a checkbox aslo ..... and i have a hyperlink outside the gridview..
I want that when i check checkbox of particular row the 'Firstname' field of that row should display as link , i am using jquery to avoid postback .. but not able to get that field value as link.
here is my gridview code:

in my project i have a gridview gv with 5 rows with check boxes(templatefield).. and 1 label.. my problem is when i check 1st row the row value display in label, if i select 1st row & 2nd row checked the two values display in same label with comma seperation, if i uncheck 2nd row, the row value remove from label and only 1st row will be display..if i select all rows all values are display in label with comma seperation.

In the Asp.Net Gridview, I am having a checkbox in each and every row for Printing.
I read and test this code found in this link: [URL]
and works really nice, but I would like to use each checked select row for printing instead of clicking "print" each time I print the row. If I want to print selected checkboxes row, I want to see a window open for printing the checkboxes rows I selected in the gridview.
I also tried this link: [URL]
but doesn't display a new window for printing.

I have a series of checkboxes and I would like to append the text value to a div every time and item gets selected, but I'd also like to remove the item from the div's text when an item is deselected.
I'm guessing the best way would be with some sort of an array? Can I get some guidance on this one?

I want to transfer gridview record to another gridview. Actually I have placed a checkbox column in 1st gridview. Now what I want that when i select the checkbox of any row the related row transfer to 2nd gridview and when I deselect it that row it returns to its previous position in 1st gridview. I am working on building a webform in visual studio ultimate 2010. What I need the form to do, for purposes of ease of use and data integrity, I have a list of service providers that, when a visitor has subscribed to service from say, Sprint, in order for us to proceed with our business practice, we would need their Sprint PIN account. So when they check 'Sprint', a label that says Enter Sprint PIN: and a text box should appear.
Of that label and text box control, on the properties pane, i set the visible property to false, then erased that, and put it in the page load section of the C# code and erased it, since neither scenario worked. This is the current code I have, and either they appear, or are invisible, and when the check box is clicked, nothing happens...

I have an ASP.NET web form that has 6 checkbox. 1 checkbox is to call a Function to select all checkbox and show the message "You have selected" 6 "items" (in this case, 6 checkbox). I have a BING MAP in web app. which is of JavaScript or Jquery. And also I have a DataGrid in same page. Data Grid is populated with Address ROWS. A check box is also there as ItemTemplate for DataGrid.
Now after dataGrid binded with data source, and when user clicks on check box, that particular address should show on BING MAP.
My question is,
How to invoke a JavaScript function when user checks checkbox in data grid. Which data Grid events suits my scenario? Also can I do this on client side without going to server side and call JS function?

I came across the following given a asp.net page containing

and the following jquery code to show this div in a dialog

If view_test button was clicked, initializing the dialog, before the form post backs the checkbox ch1.Checked property in .Net is always False. However if you just postback without initializing the dialog it works as expected.
