Here is the CSS code for the div elements within the main content placeholder:

I have a site, developed by an outside company, which requires logon for all pages.
We'd like to add a single page to the site that DOESN'T require the user to be logged in...so they can click the link on the logon page to view "T&C's" type info.
Is this possible?
(ASP.Net 4.0 on IIS)
How can I navigate to the last visited page when 'ESC' key is pressed. How can I do this using Asp.net mvc (c#).
View 4 RepliesIs it possible in VB.NET to change defaults settings on a page? For example I have..
Label1.Text = "Hello World!"
This is my code on the page load, now I want to give the user the ability to change that to whatever they want after clicking a button. So someone types "Hello!" and presses the button, how can I make it save the file with "Hello!" instead of "Hello World!" so that everyone else who comes after that user will see "Hello!" and not "Hello World!"? Basically I need to know if it is possible to edit the page using that same page.
I am currently working on a project where I want to implement a bit of logic for each .aspx viewed.My idea was to use an httphandler that will target *.aspx, and in the handler, I would do my bit of logic, such as printing out: This is the xth page you have visited in this session.I am curious if there are any problems with my idea or is there a more proper solution I am not aware of.Though I have tried implementing my solution, I run into an infinite loop. After I complete my logic with the handler, I redirect to the same page, but that of course calls the same handler. Is there a way to bypass the handler on the redirect or a specific way to execute the same page without accessing the handler.
I am using some Html.ActionLinks to change the value of a Session variable. Right now I am RedirectToAction("Index","Home"). This puts the user back at the home page every time they change that value. I would like to return the user to the view they were one when they clicked that link instead of redirecting them back to the home page. How can I do that?
View 5 RepliesActually I am working on project in asp.cs in which I want the user to give a exam only once a day. So, how I stop him from again giving that exam.

in asp grid there are multiple asp:linkbutton i want to change the color if one has been viewed.
View 4 RepliesIn IE8 after clicking a LinkButton, I am unable to get the button to display it's a:visited style. I want the LinkButton to show in a different color to show that it has been clicked, like a Hyperlink does.I read on another forum that the browser needs to have the Href value saved in it's history, but this doesn't seem to work for a linkbutton. It works for a HyperLink control, but not a LinkButton. I'm wondering if this is a known bug with the LinkButton. In the example below I have a linkbutton in a GridView, but I can't get it to work for any LinkButtons:
<asp:LinkButton
ID="lbtnEdit"
CommandName="Edit"
CommandArgument='<%# DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "pattern_ID") %>'
runat="server"
Text="<%$ Resources:Resource, Edit %>"></asp:LinkButton>
Here is what if renders as in the ViewSource:
<a id="ctl00_cphMain_gvWbpatternlist_ctl25_lbtnEdit"
href="javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$cphMain$gvMyGridView$ctl25$lbtnEdit','')">Edit</a>
I want to change anchor link color in gridview once i click that link.

I have a gridview that populate hyperlinks on a page. When i click on it it redirect to another page but when I go back one page it doesn't color the visited hyperlink. Does the gridview not support that or something? It works on the rest of my site. I tried adding CSS to it and still the same. This was my CSS:
[Code]....

View 1 RepliesI have developed a website using ASP.net. The pages use a master page with the background image set to the colour I require. All appears OK until I resize the window - then as I reduce the window size and or change the zoom level - white blank areas appear on the background to the right of the page and textboxes remain the background colour overlaying the white areas. This also happens when view in other browsers.
View 4 RepliesHow to programatically set a:visited and a:hover programatically? I am dynamically building up some hyperlinks server side and want to know how to specify unique css behaviour for each link. Otherwise I would set them all in a stylesheet.
View 4 RepliesI need the gallery to be viewed as a thumbnail and each pic should be opened in the separate page when clicked .
View 4 RepliesI looking for the easiest way to export the currently viewed asp.net web page to a PDF document using iTextSharp - it can be either a screenshot of it or passing in the url to generate the document.
View 2 RepliesI have some code that successfully traps an error 404 and diverts to an appropriate page. However, I have a problem with certain types of error. My code will trap the scenario where a user types, e.g.,
www.mysite.com/indecks.aspx where no such page exists. However, if the user types something along the lines
www.mysite.com/index.aspx/nonsensetext where index.aspx is a valid page, the page load event for index.aspx is triggered. However the page is rendered incorrectly because, I think, it is failing to find the images and CSS file associated with the page - perhaps because it is looking at the wrong path.
I expect that I can trap this by examining, for example, Request.URL.OriginalString and, if I detect garbage, I could re-direct to the same page "more cleanly" (i.e. without the junk on the end of the URL). However I'm a bit concerned that this is happening at all. Shouldn't this be treated as a 404 error?
I have an app with alot of anchor tags in it. I wanna see what ones a user clicked on during a session. I thought aspnet automatically saved that information here:
string sessID = System.Web.SessionState.SessionID;
But there is no such thing as SessionID in the SessionState namespace. Is this information saved automatically, if so how do I access it? Here is my simple html
<body> <form id="form1" runat="server">
<div> Page 2
<a href="{URL}">Visit W3Schools</a>
<br /> <a href="[URL]">Yahoos</a>
</div> </form> </body>
