I have try the code that you provide in article "Dynamically Generate and Display Barcode Image in ASP.Net"It is running, however, the barcode image is not there. Eg: I put "a" in the textbox, after push the generate button, its only show "*a*" without the barcode.
The error shows that it is invalid parameter in line "Using bitMap As New Bitmap(barCode.Length * 40, 80)"Â
I have install the application that been given too.
I used the barcode example to my application and it generated barcode perfectly now I want to know that can this barcode image is readable by a barcode reader device ?
If Yes then how and if no then why and how to do ?
I am generating barcode image dynamically on button click .
The image is display on the asp image control, now I want to save that image in database
string barCode = txt_ID.Text; using (Bitmap bitMap = new Bitmap(barCode.Length * 40, 80)) { using (Graphics graphics = Graphics.FromImage(bitMap)) { Font oFont = new Font("IDAutomationHC39M", 16); PointF point = new PointF(2f, 2f);
I have created an SSRS report in VS 2008 that has a barcode on it. The report and barcode both view fine when looking at it via Report Viewer. It exports into Excel fine, and the barcode displays fine. However, when you export it to to PDF, the barcode does not show up any more. If I change the font to something other than barcode (which is 3 of 9), the value shows up fine.
So my question is, why will my barcode not show up when exporting the report to PDF, but shows up everywhere else?
I have a Winforms app which provides the ability for users to create their own reports. At its simplest they design the query which gets encrypted and saved into a database.
The ability to view these reports via the web as now come upon us.
What is the best way to handle this? Ideally I want to use MVC but there will be no model or viewmodel because these queries can return data for any table across the application and so I cannot have hardcoded propeties etc. Obviously I have access to the SQL to execute it.
I wonder if tradtional ASP.Net may perform better in this scenario ie/execute the SQL and put it in a DataTable but was hoping to get some thoughts from the community.
I'm an ASP newbie, so I'm trying to muddle through setting up this image gallery piece by piece as I learn the language. This particular issue has me completely stumped though. The site in question: [URL] I'm very confused as to why the navigation menu is listing out of alphabetical order. Here's the code that I'm -pretty sure- is governing this chunk of info:

I have a need to generate a barcode on an ASP.NET page. I know how to do this, but the catch is I need this to work on a shared hosting environment. Being a shared host, I don't have the ability to install custom barcode fonts on the server.
Does anyone know of any barcode solutions (possibly open source) that encapsulate fonts in the bin assembly and don't require the barcode fonts to be installed on the server?
