Web Forms :: How To Append The Data That Was In Different Text File

i am having a issue i.e i am saving my files in a folder. Now i am having 2 files such as one.txt and two.txt now i would like add the content that was in the two.text to one.text .
I've tried the following code in my sample page and it doesn't work.All I'm trying to do is just append some text into a div on the page when the button is clicked.
my c# web application populating dropdowns with datas at run time... i.e my web form contains 3 dropdowns and one gridview.. dropdown1 populate with 'pgmtitle' which is fetch from database,when user select one item-pgmtitle from dropdown1,participants(BadgeNo,Name) of that pgm will be populated in gridview. when user click on the participant badgeno,dropdownlist3 will poputated with recieving officers name.. wen user select one of the recieving officer from dropdown3,his designation is dispalyed in a textbox,and dropdon2 will populated with feedback sentdate... this is my requirement... and my pblm is, when i choose another pgmtilte(say pgmtilte2) from dropdownlist1,previous value associated with(pgmtilte1) appended with dropdown2 and dropdown3.. here is my HTML code:-
i need to replicate or add one more row to the present row in a gridview on clicking a button in template field....am able to add a new row which is having controls not only text....but the entire grid is resetting...i dont want to reset the gri and want to add new row to grid...

I have a dropdown binded with database value Eg : A001, A002, A003 etc. When ever i use to select the first value A001 , it is not going for postback. After selecting the second index value A002 n then selecting the first value A001 , i use to post back. And i dnt want to use appent data bound here.
i have done a small code like if i enter some value in my text box i will pop up a new form corresponding to the value entered i will take the values from the pop up form and click on save and i am redirecting to the previous page and will click on save now i would like to save the data along with the data that is entered in the pop up form
Ex : My first form is like

Value 3 Here when i enter 3 i will get a pop up if i click on save it will take input 3 times from the user. That data should be carried to the prev form and wiil fill the remaining values in that form and click on save
Currently we are saving files (PDF, DOC) into the database as BLOB fields. I would like to be able to retrieve the raw text of the file to be able to manipulate it for hit-highlighting and other functions.Does anyone know of a simple way to either parse out the files and save the raw text on save, either via SQL or .net code. I have found that Adobe has a filtdump utility that will convert the PDF to text. Filtdump seems to be a command line tool, and i don't see a way to use a file stream. And what would the extractor be for Office documents and other file types?-or-Is there a way to pull out the raw text from the SQL Full text index, without using 3rd party filters?Note i am trying to build a .net & MSSql solution without having to use a third party tool such as Lucene
We are writing a portal and like every portal we store html data in Db fro Modules. So I thought that I can cache each module in files. I use OnLoad event to check if there is a cache file for this Module, use that and else create cache file:
I have an input type, so a text box which has a browse button next to it. When it is clicked, the file that is selected has it's full path placed into the text box.
Where is the event! Now that I have the path to the file in the textbox of the input type, I want to load each line of this file into a textbox that is able to handle multiline text. I don't want the file to be uploaded to the website. I just want to contents of the file read and placed in a textbox all with one click on the browse button.

In ASP.Net, I want to give a user an ability to save the text entered in the textbox to the client machine. So that, user can copy paste it for later use.
Is there a way to show, save as dialog so that user can save the text in a text file on client machine? or, if there is any other alternative?
actually my need is that, after uploading a doc file I want to save this doc file's text to database table, with the help of asp fileupload control. actually in real I dont want to save this whole file anywhere, but I just need the text to save in databse.
