I try to use the jquery + json to get all elements in form and build a JSON var to post in a ASP.NET MVC method.
[Code]....
It method get all fields in a form and build a JSON, but it dont put JSON inside JSON.
Example:
If i have the follow form:
<input name="person.name"><input name="person.age"><input name="person.address.street">
The serialized string build a JSON like this
{ "person.name": "??", "person.age": "??", "person.address.street": "??" }
I need a plugin or some function to generate like this:
{ "person": { "name" : "??", "age" : "??", "address":{ "street": "??" } } }

i am using stringbuilder but i have hit a problem. the line below
sb.AppendLine("ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_rptNav_ctl00_AssetsTreeControl_1_pnlAssetsContext");

StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder();
sb.AppendLine("<b Id='");
sb.AppendLine(assets_item.Id.ToString());
sb.AppendLine("' oncontextmenu='return ShowContextMenu(event, ");

I am using the code below (simplified for this example) to post data to a SharePoint list
StringBuilder customerDoc = new StringBuilder();
customerDoc.Append("<Method ID='1' Cmd='New'>");
customerDoc.Append("<Field Name='Name'>" + Name + "</Field>");
customerDoc.Append("<Field Name='Age'>" + age + "</Field>");
customerDoc.Append("<Field Name='City'>" + city + "</Field>");
customerDoc.Append("<Field Name='Country'>" + country + "</Field>");
customerDoc.Append("</Method>");
XmlDocument xDoc = new XmlDocument();
XmlElement xBatch = xDoc.CreateElement("Batch");
xBatch.SetAttribute("OnError", "Continue");
xBatch.InnerXml = sb_method.ToString();
XmlNode xn_return = sharePoint.listsObj.UpdateListItems(ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["SaveCustomer"].ToString(), xBatch);
As you can see I am using a stringbuilder which isn't ideal so I wonder what I should use instead to create an XML string?

SqlDataReader myreader;
myreader = cmmd.ExecuteReader();
StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder();
sb.Append("<b>Vaccine</b> <b> Vaccination Date</b> <b> Vaccination Due Date</b> <b> Incomplete Vaccination </b> <b>Dose No.</b> <b> Remarks </b><br/><br/>");
while (myreader.Read())
{
sb.Append(myreader["VaccineID"]);
sb.Append(" ");
sb.Append(myreader["DateOFVaccine"]);
sb.Append(" ");
sb.Append(myreader["NextVaccinationDueDate"]);
sb.Append(" ");
sb.Append(myreader["AnyIncompleteImmunization"]);
sb.Append(" ");
sb.Append(myreader["DoseNumber"]);
sb.Append(" ");
sb.Append(myreader["Remark1"]);
sb.Append("<br/>");
}
lblDisplayDetails.Text = sb.ToString();
myreader.Close();
WHAT EXACTLY I WANT IS TO RETRIEVE DATA(may be from separate table) AND THEN DISPLAY THEM PUTTING SOME STYLE(font,color etc). Is retrieving from multiple table is possible in gridview ? I could use the DataReader, but how to display them in style(font,color etc)?

In my javascript code I am getting json string from cs file
var tmpString="<%=resultset2%>";
In cs I am concatenating strings to build json string. Here is an issue the json string is returned as a string and it has " with it.
"[{id:'1',name:'Aik'},{id:'2',name:'Aik or Aik'}]"
Because of " in beginning and end javascript code treat it as a string.

I've scenario where I want to insert data into database without post back. there are around 12 to 13 fields which i need to insert. I'm passing DTO from the client side which is actually Json object. Now the problem which i'm facing is how to convert that Json object which i got in webservice to the "class" (in my case class name is User) object.
[Code]....
In the above case AddNewUser method takes the object of User class. But i'm getting casting error. So how do I convert Json object to the "User" class object?

I have urls like this in my application: [URL]
Iphone, Ericsson, LG, HTCDesire are simple products and that is fine. It is the tabid/61/Default.aspx
I'd like to get rid of so that urls would look like these instead: [URL]
what kind of coding needs to be done here because I have a .Net open source CRMsystem that is native with these tabid/61/Default.asp but I'd like to override it with added VB.net code
