Ok so I have my aspx pages. They work and display fine in IE, but dont do a think in FF. Perfect example is the home page, it has a large image that is set a url that is retrieved from my db in the code behind:

My application is working fine in local environment but not working after push code in live. My locale environment and hosting environment both are having same configuration. Same app working fine 2 month before but in different domain but same hosting server.
how to check the both config / any possible to run debug mode in hosting server please let me know. below code used in all page for checking user session status but when I click on any link page redirect to login.aspx I think session got timeout. I don't know why session got time frequently, but this issue not happening in local environment (desktop).

I have 2 textbox,textbox1 and textbox2.On entering value in textbox 1(ex. on entering 35 in textbox1) automatically the value in textbox2 should be 100-textbox1(ex. textbox2 should contain 65 i.e 100-35) and it cant be edited by the user.Textbox2 is readonly.And the textboxes can contain decimal values also .I have wrote my code but its not working and nor giving any error .

We have an asp.panel that by default is set to visible=false. When a checkbox is clicked the panel is set to visible=true. The checkbox is set to autopostback and viewstate=true as well as the panel's viewstate =true. This code has worked perfectly for several years and suddenly it has started throwing an error on the built in .net java function below. It doesn't do it in the IDE when you run it either. The bold line is where the exception is being thrown.

My hosting service is all messed up and my application keeps recycling. I am not able to figure out why my application is recycling. I am told that my application is using more than 100MB allocated memory but I just do not see what is wrong or how much is the optimized memory is required for my application. So in my master page I am trying to capture if one of the session variables is null and redirect to login page in the master page.in my master page I have the following code:

I wanted to disable a button after it is clicked and at the same time fire the post back event to generate a report. My first set of code did not work because soon after the button is disabled the page won't submit/post back. here's the first set of code which was not implemented. the onclientclick calls a javascript function which has these lines

Some time ago I converted an old windows application to a web application. This web application works fine as a stand alone app. I was recently informed that my client had a new standard layout and they are using a master page. They sent me the master page.
The web application is quite basic in that it makes a number of calls to a web service to retreive a list of customer, retrieve list of products and allows customer to create an order containing products.
I did the following to get make use of master page:
Copied it to my solution Update the page directive to include the MasterPageFile attribute and set it to point to master pageAdded the relevant content areas to my page Copied my code (control declarations etc) into the relevant content areas.The application compiles correctly and renders as expected. However, it does not behave as expected.
For example, I display a list of customers in a GridView. The user can select a customer by clicking the select button that is present for each row in GridView. I do this once and select a customer the page is posted back and relevant row is selected. I select a different customer and the page it posted back but this time the selected row does not change. It is still shown as the first row i selected.
This functionality works as expected if i remove the master page attribute and content areas.
I am just learning ASP.NET. I have a form which has a gridview on it. It displays data from an Access database. I want to filter the gridview on one of the columns. I am using a dropdownlist to select the filter value only and then a button to execute the filter. If I use "accessdatasource.filterexpression = " type of statement the filtering works but it cancels when you go to the next page on the gridview. So, I have tried the following code. I have searched numerous articles for how to accomplish freezing the Header Row of a DataGrid or GridView component being to simply hide the header and then build table cells just above the component to define the columns. But the one that I'd like to get to work is by the use of CSS code. Problem is that this code seems to work for everyone else but it isn't working for me. Here's my Stylesheet code:

why this code is probably not working? I am using .NET Framework 3.5 and developing in VSS 2008 which may be why this doesn't work?

I have a formview that I open to the edit template, some textboxes are not available and some are populated by dropdown lists, and the update function works fine.
As soon as I add some logic to the code behind page for the update control, the UPDATE link on the formview stops updating my DB.
