Dec 8, 2010I need to display text on different lines inside of a textbox. Is there any way for me to insert a break from the text on one line and the start of more text on another line?

Now that I have the path to the file in the textbox of the input type, I want to load each line of this file into a textbox that is able to handle multiline text.
I don't want the file to be uploaded to the website. I just want to contents of the file read and placed in a textbox all with one click on the browse button.

Users insert comments etc, using line breaks, however because I just pass this as a string the line breaks are not there when they view the text box after input. Start Batch Job From IIS / Start Exe File With System.Diagnostics.Process.Start With Another Account Is Disabled?
Oct 28, 2010What is the right approach when users (authenticated domain admins) should be able to start batch jobs (usually exe files) from an IIS (7.x) aspx (c#) page? This is an intranet site. The batch jobs have to run on the web server as Domain Admins. The website pool is executed by network service or some similar restricted account in AD.
Approaches I can think of (and their disadvantages):
1. Start exe file with System.Diagnostics.Process.Start with another account. This feature is disabled in IIS 7.x, how do I allow it?
2. Create a sheduled task and call scheduled task-api. This unmanaged dll is giving VS compiler warnings because it's unsafe to call from managed code.
3. I suppose there's a better approach, because the previous suggestions doesn't appear safe or robust.

Nov 27, 2010I am generating a list of labels with an Image Button control at the start of each line. Unfortunately, my browser displays this list on a web page with the image higher than the label text by a few pixels. This results in a blank line of a few pixels wide between each line of text. Even the image has a blank line above it. This especially puzzles me since I went to the trouble of specifying the height, in pixels, of the image and labels. Is there any way to make the image and text appear evenly on the same line?

Keep Label And Text Box On Same Line

The problem is that, depending on the width of the screen, the labels (e.g. "Postcode") do not always appear on the same line as the text box/dropdown they refer to. Is there a way of ensuring that, when it needs to "flow" an element down to the next line, it flows the label and the input control together?
