I have my own custom webpart. Inside this webpart I would like to display transparent gif. Unfortunately it dosen't do it. I was tryign to use html img tag or asp.net image tag.Src property for the image is set properly because it displays image icon insted of "X".X would be proof of the wrong path under src. As I said it is alright.
I have a very simple page consisting of a number of imagebuttons that when pressed should change the text in a label. To get a rollover effect I have placed these three lines in the "Page_Load" routine for each button:
[Code]....
An further down on the page I use a number of DIV and CSS to place the imagebuttons i this fashion:
[Code]....
This works like a charme in Firefox, but in both IE and Opera nothing happens when the imagebuttons are pressed?I must be missing something obvious here, but what?
I am using report server 2008 and i have a background image on the report which is made hidden based on condition. When ever image is hidden, report in the report viewer is fine. But if the image is visible, background image it self is taking the 1st page and the data that should be on the image is going to second page. This is repeatble only for Reprt server 2008 and not for 2005.
I just used the wonderful tool Microsoft Ajax Minifier and it's working very well when I build my MVC application on my machine but when I check-in in source control and started build by the Team Build 2010 it doesn't create the min files, for sure I can't put the mini files inside the source control as the recommendation from the Microsoft Ajax Minifier because it's like the dll it's generated every time you build your application so no need to put it in source control beside it can't be because you will need always to check-out this file to build and this will prevent other from build using the team build, so what I need to do to make generate the mini file with team build 2010?
I am new to Chart controls and I'm trying to display a label (text) for a datapoint in a chart instead of a value.
I'm using the following code to load the datapoints and to add label information for each point (each label will be different).
But when the chart is displayed all datapoint labels are blank (if I use the first line of code) or the labels are all the same, containing the last rows value (if I use the 2nd line of code).
Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? Is there something in the .aspx that I need to set?
[Code]....
For example:
I have 3 rows in my grid with the label data: "Cat", "Dog", "Mouse". But the label in my chart is blank for all points when I use the first line of code and when I use the second line of code the label is "Mouse" for all points.
each one uses an unordered list to display in the begining of the page loading the list is displayed with all its items under each other in an ugly way then it returns to the normal one line style.
I wish a way to display these lists properly from the begining of the page loading
I usually use Firefox & IE on my Vista PC and the images on my site's first page are just fine. But I checked out my page in Safari and the images are all misshapen. Here's the code I'm using:
I have a problem with my chart image not refreshing and I narrowed it down to the fact that there's an unrelated image that according to MS VS2005 IDE, that the image file is not found... BUT..when I run/debug it... it displays properly. The image is right in the root of the aspx directory so it is not in any folder.<img src="right-thumb.png"> // this works but ide shows error and causes chart to have update problemi get an error in the IDE file is not found. however, if I display a FULL PATH, the problem goes away. WHY? i don't want to display the whole path because i don't want public users to see the server file location.
<img src="c:webapplication ight-thumb.png"> // this works for everything
I have a fileupload control in a contentplaceholder in a masterpage. I have to preview the image whenever I browse an image beside it in an imagecontrol.
My application is running on a different server .So I can't give the filepath of my local system.
Also I don't want to store the image in any location and i'm not supposed to use any session variable to pass it to generic handler.
I'm not sure what is happening but I cannot get my menu to display any other font color than 'burgundy' even if I specify Black or White. Plus when I Hover over my main menu items, the sub-items have a background of white and appear empty... I know strange! To test my page I copied some code from a tutorial at: [URL] All I changed were the Orientation to horizontal and of course the URLs... and still the problem remains.
I know how to display an image in gridview from image path in database. Now, I want to display an image in an asp.net image control from image path in database. Can anyone point me to a tutorial? I haven't been able to find one that explains how to do it when I don't know what the image path will be. The images are in the root folder.
I am using a datalist to display data from a database.Except for 1 column all the other column values are getting repeated so I am hiding all the other column values when the datalist repeats itself. However, the unique column value is not getting rendered properly because there are many line breaks in between.I am not using any web control to display the static text and I am not sure if that would help.I just want to improve the final display so that the datalist looks consistent.I am attaching my code.
My query is that I have an sql field for image with db type "Image" , now I have successfully inserted some images in the form of bytes, now how to read those bytes of image from database and convert, show in gridview?
i have a website which has a <IMG> and/or <asp:Image> in it.
The user has an option to upload an image. so if the user does upload an image it will be displayed in the stated controls above. but if they don't the control displays its alternative text or an "x" icon. can i just place a default image in it if there is no image reference to it to display?
I know this might sound like a simple quesiton, but I am having problems allowing me to upload images along with other information (name, image, biography, wbsite links) to a sql server database, as well as showing images from the database using a drop list control feature. I am using [URL] for hosintg. VB language.
I have two Picture Libraries. One has pictures and the other contains the thumbnails created programmatically by me. I am displaying the thumbnails into a custom webpart. I need to display the original pictures on mouseover on the thumbnails displayed in webpart and the originals displayed should dissappear on mouse out.
