Feb 11, 2010Is there any way to find the position of text in pdf.
I tried using pdfClown and ItextSharp,but m not finding any way.

but that isnt working. Kindly note, I do not want to hardcord the position as 0, instead I would like to find it

Jun 2, 2010I am using ASP.net 2.0 and AJAX 2.0. I implemented successfully auto-complete extender for my text box and it is working very good. But the problem is for Drop down list position. When the page first load and at that time if we use auto complete drop down will come properly but if the scroll bar position change then drop down will overlap the text box and it will change the position. For more info I will put screen of it.

Jun 9, 2010There may be an easier way, and if there is I'm all for it. However - my ASP.NET page has a TON of controls on it, and I've given them all ID's that start with underscore. I copied all the markup into Notepad++ and I'm trying to find a regular expression that will find everything but the controls and replace it with whitespace. that way I'll have a text file that has all my control names which I'll probably throw into Excel and do some string manipulation to add ".Text = " etc.

Jun 25, 2010I recently built a table dynamically on a page.
this is how I pulled the value back to fill in the text box in the table. With no master page.
TextBox tb = (TextBox)table.Rows[i].Cells[j].FindControl("TextBoxRow_" + i + "Col_" + j);
tb.Text = Request.Form["TextBoxRow_" + i + "Col_" + j];
Now that I've added a master page to this things apparently have gotten more complicated. This won't fill the value for the textbox in the table cell that I want. I know the value still exists because if I do this
Request.Form.GetValues("ctl00$MainContent$TextBoxRow_" + i + "Col_1")[0]
Has the value that I want to put into that text box. I know the text box gets created because it's there when the page refreshes. But I can't seem to find that text box so i can put a value in it.
C# - Save A Binary File In SQL Server As BLOB And Text (or Get The Text From Full-Text Index)?
Mar 26, 2010Currently we are saving files (PDF, DOC) into the database as BLOB fields. I would like to be able to retrieve the raw text of the file to be able to manipulate it for hit-highlighting and other functions.Does anyone know of a simple way to either parse out the files and save the raw text on save, either via SQL or .net code. I have found that Adobe has a filtdump utility that will convert the PDF to text. Filtdump seems to be a command line tool, and i don't see a way to use a file stream. And what would the extractor be for Office documents and other file types?-or-Is there a way to pull out the raw text from the SQL Full text index, without using 3rd party filters?Note i am trying to build a .net & MSSql solution without having to use a third party tool such as Lucene

Of course I could change my view to create dinamically the notes div on DOM ready but before going to change all the code I was wondering if i can have some code to make them respect the positions they have meant to be to.
Stop Scrolling At One Position Only
Feb 14, 2011I have a grid at the bottom of my website. There is an image button that addas a new row to the grid but as i click the image button the scrolling moves to the top disturbing the focus of the page. How can i stop the scrolling at one position only.
