Merging huge CSS files is huge pain,
I tried some of the tools but they end up merging line by line rather than on the basis or CSS rules.
Now i thought i should right one good program to do following,
1. read CSS file convert in XML
2. sort it on the basis of CSS rule
Now write one more program to consume 3 XML files find different classes and merge the files nicely based on CSS rules.
How ever that turned out to be good amount of work and i hope there must be someone who must have faced this problem before me and solved it clean way.
I would to know the tool for this however i would also love to know how to design/code for this kind of tool? Am i thinking on right track ?
I'am looking for a dynamic reporting tool for Asp.Net. Tool should support drag drop of data fields, simple grouping and simple expressions. Actually end users will use this tool for data listing. Rendering to html and pdf is enough.

I am using iTextSharp for conversion of aspx to PDF file.
Is there any way I can add Horizontal scroll bar in my PDFPtable or Horizontal scrollbar in my PDF file generated.
I'm trying to add Google Adword conversion code script to certain aspx pages in our website but I'm running into an issue with the site using master pages. The Google instruction said to place the code before the body tag but with master pages being used the code will be on all the pages using the master page. I would like setup it up where certain pages use individual conversion codes with others not using anything. Any suggestions or examples would be appreciated. Also, I'm using C#.
View 1 RepliesI am quite to this and have a question regarding tools... I have two .aspx pages, one has an .AJAX timer and the other one does not. I need to able to set that timer interval (not to send, but to set it!) from the other page, the one that does not have it. Is this possible in ASP.NET?
View 3 RepliesSorry, not sure if this is the right place for this. I have a requirement to convert Word, Excel and HTML docs to PDF format programmatically, but most information online seems to be talking about client side. What is the best approach for this. I think there would be about 100 conversions a day in production. It's not high volume.

RadComboBox tl = (RadComboBox)this.Page.FindControl("radTerm");
in vain!find the controls on the main page. i am calling them thru thewebusercontrol that i load in the radgrid.
I have been looking around recently to try and find a good place to learn how to start making my website more smartphone friendly when it is visited by an iPhone, android, or blackberry. This is something like what [URL] does when it is visited by a smartphone. I have found a few tutorials for PHP but none for ASPX, and all I have is windows servers.
Could anyone point me in the right direction, and show me were to find a quick run through on how to do something like this? I am a bit lost.
Does anyone have any applications that they recommend, whether they be downloadable or web apps, that can neatly format your .aspx code? I've had limited success trying to adjust the formatting preferences with Visual Studio itself, and spend a lot of time manually indenting/unindenting lines.
As a clarification, I'm looking for something to format the web page code, not the vb code-behind file.
I have an asp page "A" and I've created a user control "B"
When I do A.Controls.Add(B), I would like to make an element, say a TableRow which is defined inside control "B", invisible via code behind.
When looking through Controls of "A", I cannot seem to find that table row.
Check out the code below:-
[Code]....
I have tblRow table on the form and on Page Load I am generating HtmlTableRow, HtmlTableCell and HtmlInputText and adding it to the table. On the click of button Save I can get the HTMLInputText value by using the value it generates for its Name attribute, I get ctl06 when I do the View Source of the page.
I want to know is there any way through which I get the value through ID which I am assigning in the above case i.e. "txtTest".

I think (I read it somewhere and can't find the source again) there is a new Google Analytics Html Helper on MVC 3 Beta.
Where can I find the source for this helper?
Does anyone have a good tutorial or now how to send html emails. I have searched and searched and not been able to get anything to work. I have tried CDOSYS and havent been able to get it to work. Currently I am using System.Net.Mail and System.Text so that I can use StringBuilder and put it in the body.
I would like to be able to build an aspx page and send it as the body in an auto generated email.

Was RouteValueDictionary intended for use with htmlAttributes? Is there an alternative? The only 'feature' RouteValueDictionary looks like its got is it has a constructor which accepts an object.
What should I be using in custom helpers?
