After user entering the values in the respective textbox, he will click button. It cause postback, that time i need to show loading image, until the value is inserted into the database.
On the whole the user should not feel that the page is postback every time when he click the button, instead of it i need to show loading image.

Jul 15, 2010My page structure:1. 4 dropdowns which serve as filter for jqgrid2. a stored procedure (which shows all records if all dropdowns have NULL or empty value)3. a jqgrid which works on data in the dropdownsNow, due to some role restrictions, i have to disable 2 dropdowns and set a value in them and then load the jqgrid. im using ajax (jquery) to load data to my dropdowns.issue: if i use jquery ajax to load my dropdown data, all records are shown. but, if i use dropdown_load method in C#, i get the correct result that is filtered records.is there a way to load all the dropdowns first using jquery ajax and then load the jqgrid so that the jqgrid params take the updated value from the dropdowns...

Mar 6, 2013I have update panel on the page to avoid postback and placed a dropdownlist control within that update panel. DrodownList is filled with Category names and also it's autopostback set to True.
Now whenever dropdownlist index change's on select, untill page loads complete data it should show mesage as "Loading.... in center and middle of the page and background should become bit transparent". And when page load completely with data then that background and message should get disappear.

Am I hitting some connection limit or server resource limit?

Jun 1, 2010I'm no expert with Image controls, or dynamically adding anything, but I seem to have some problem when dynamically adding image controls
When the page loads the images are "there", but they don't actually show an image...just an image "box" I guess you could call it. It's not the "broken" image or "invalid" image display, but a friendlier one that doesn't make sense to me why it's there.
I look at the page's source and literally everything's fine, but I'm not sure what's going wrong. I can show you my code, and hopefully someone will point out the dumb thing I'm doing wrong:

So, it takes all the .JPG files in the folder "Pictures" of my project's folder and creates an Image control to be put into Panel1 with the ImageURL as its filename (with Directory Path) and even set the ID to its filename (so no duplicate IDs). Again, the source is exactly how it should be, but no image is shown.
