Get The Latest Selected Value From A Checkbox List?

I am currently facing a problem. How to get the latest selected value from a asp.net checkbox list? From looping through the Items of a checkbox list, I can get the highest selected index and its value, but it is not expected that user will select the checkbox sequentially from lower to higher index. So, how to handle that? Is there any event capturing system that will help me to identify the exact list item which generates the event?
How can i generate dropdown lists based on what has been selected in the checckbox list. Below is an example of what i need. if the user selects the options day, lotID and waferID, then 3 cascading dropdown lists should be displayed. And then a gridview displays data based on what has been chosen in the dropdown lists.

I am new to ASP.NET and i have created a page where i am calling Fullname of person in Checkboxlist. When a user selects some names and clicks sendmail button , it should go into sql find out the email addresses of selected names and convert them to a mailto:aaa@ymail.com;abc@gmail.com; ask the user whichever mailaccount the user wants to use to send the mail to them.

i want to apply color to selected number of items in checkbox list and seleted number of items in drop downlist for e.g color red for few items and black (default). I have a bit value set in data base so if bit is set to 0 then red and if 1 then back.
I have an ASP.NET web form that has 6 checkbox. 1 checkbox is to call a Function to select all checkbox and show the message "You have selected" 6 "items" (in this case, 6 checkbox). If a user doesn't select the Select All checkbox, they can select or deselect other checkbox individually and the message will be "You have selected" # "items" I'm trying to do this in jQuery, but it's not working yet. The CSS class CheckBoxClass is not with the HTML input, that's why I'm looking for checkbox Id instead of checkbox class.
I am absoluetly confused. My web app has a checkbox list that my code is looking to see if the user checked it. Like I said, very simple stuff... Here's the code:

The odd thing is that when it gets to this bit of code it just moves right past it like it wasn't checked. The same thing happens when I use a single checkbox (rather than a checkbox list). I've tried a bunch of different ways to make the code work but I'm left to the conclusion that I'm just not telling it to do this correctly. Either that or my project is messed up somehow.I say that my project is messed up because when I add an object to the page in Design mode, it doesn't write the source code. So when I save and close, all the modifications are mysteriously gone. This happens on multiple PC's...So, is the checkbox problem just me not doing something correctly or is my web project messed up?
Clicking the label of a drop down list, re-sets the selected value to the first item in the list. This has a history of causing data entry problems when users accidently click on the label.
In the below example ddlContactType has a selected value as 'PRIMARY' and whenever i click on the lblContactType Text, the dropdown box Selected value is changing to "Select One" Text.
How to prevent this one. It should be on PRIMARY Only.
I'm trying to progam a strongly typed "Create" view using MVC 3 and razor. I want the user to be able to select a customer from a dropdown list (I populated this from my database using ViewBag in the controller). When the user has selected a customer I want a separate dropdown list to generate a list of dogs belonging to that customer related by the customerID in the database. The create button on the form will then take both of these values along with the the other fields and save it to the database.

I have a check box list, and I want to be able to find out during an instance (autopostback) what the index is of the item that was selected. I handle the SelectedIndexChanged, but I can only test for the boolean value of each check box. But what about if I want to find out which check box the user selected or deselected to trigger that event?
I have a series of checkboxes and I would like to append the text value to a div every time and item gets selected, but I'd also like to remove the item from the div's text when an item is deselected.
I'm guessing the best way would be with some sort of an array? Can I get some guidance on this one?

returns last checked item for example if I checked second will return second item then when I checked fifth item will return fifth item but if now when I check third item will return fifth item so it is always returning last item checked in the list and I'm looking to
on button click i am checking all checkboxes..and I have other button on the Filedset which i submit.. when I submit clicks I need to send only which ever is checked from Fieldset?
I have designed a gridview with a radio button inside the itemtemplet. I also have a confirm button. A user is allowed to check several radio button and when a confirm button is pressed then database is updated with the value of radio button.
But when i check the button it is shown as checked in UI but when I check through code behind, it shows checked property of radio button as false.
