Open Popup At Right Corner?
Mar 11, 2011I am opening a popup window from javascript using window.open. I want to open this popup window at right corner of the page (height="700px" width="400px"). How can i achieve this

Oct 4, 2010I am using a modal extender pop up with dimensions 400px by 400px and in the top right corner I want to put a image cross that when clicked will shut the modal pop up.
I know to make the cancel control to the buttom image but I have seen on some sites the image that seems to sit half in and half out the modal pop up extender DIV box which the effect I like more than an image internal to the DIV of the modal popup floated right corner.

Aug 5, 2010I can't use RegisterStartupScript('window.open...), because Chrome blocks the popup without even informing the user.
I can't use "onclientclick=window.open(..." in the markup, because I have to invoke code in the button click event handler before opening the popup window.
I can't expect every user of the website to add the site as an exception in Google Chrome's popup blocker, since they'll assume it's an error on the website and not with the popup blocker.
So what other options do I have?

Jun 30, 2011i have a page with TWO modal popups. Both contain very similar elements.
Both update panels contains a datagrid. At first my update panel would close when i selected an item in the datagrid. I managed to fix this in the first one by properly putting the items that should not postback into an update panel. I cloned the first panel to create the second panel and yet, in the second panel, selecting an item closes the modalpopup.
I'm not seeing what is different about the two:

Sep 14, 2010I did a little research and all i can find is binding the js to a control that will fire the popup.Is there a way that i can use in code so i can trigger a popup window from vb.net code? If it is to complicated then is there a way to have a button set with the popup message i want the user to view and make the button click with .net code so the onclick event will fire and show the popup window?

I can use Window.ShowModelDialog(), but in my child window I am calling parent javascript method. That is not happening with ShowModelDialog().

Feb 15, 2011What I want is to pop up a window that is 100 x 100 after I do a sql insert and then print the page. In 1.1 it worked greate but in VS 2010 it seems not to work great always get errors. So this is what I am doing.
When user clicks on submit it rotates through a gridview ans saves data to a sql table. After this i want to open a small popup window and have the print options open with it, print the page and then it closes window on print. Here is where I am having trouble, the popup always gives me errors, i am using an update panel and I don't know if this is the problem or not.
