Vb.net - How To Get Past Embedding A Html Form For Paypal Buttons

I have some experience of using paypal with an asp.net website, however this issue has me really stumped.
Root of the problem: You cant embed the html form for the paypal button inside your page form.
Original solution: Originally my website was using multiple aspx pages so I could simply arrange my form tags so that they weren't embedded inside one another.
My website now uses a master aspx page which draws in different ascx controls. This means that I do not have the option of arranging the form tags around the page so need a work around.
NB. I have looked all over the place for simple solutions but it is a jungle out there, paypal is a nightmare. I did find something on ghost form which is all in c#.

I am not passing formcollection. I am passing values to the ActionResult method, because in my scenario, it doesn't make much sense to use formcollection, because user is hardly filling out any data. I really prefer using SubmitImage at the moment, so I would prefer if your solution doesn't involve me switching to css or input type etc. EDIT: I'm using Ajax.BeginForm and that seems to be the problem rather than Html.SubmitImage

I am trying to use HTTPWebRequest to login to a site and then retrieve the page after login. However, it seems as if I can't get past the login. I also investigated with Fiddler and tried mimicking Fiddler almost completely and still no luck.

I am in the process of creating a photo blog website for my photography. To outline my website, basically I want my homepage to be the blog where I'll upload a daily photograph. In addition to the photo blog, I want a number of static pages such as Contact, Biography, Galleries (here's where my question fits in...).
In the static galleries pages, what is my best option for creating galleries? Would I be better off coding it from the start in C# or embedding an HTML website that is creating from Adobe Lightroom? To give you an idea of what I want, take a look at my current website which is www.nigelivy.com. I would like to create a similar site in terms of look and feel, but the reason I am re-writing the site in ASP.NET is because I want to increase my functionality, I already have some knowledge of ASP.NET, and I have a Windows Server which is ready to host the site.

I am trying to test out some characters from a querystring to see how they render as HTML. Unfortunately the ASP.Net controls that I have tried so far like label and setting the inner html fo a div tag have only resulted in the following result:

I noticed this string earlier tonight on an article about trackback spamming that I would really like to try out [URL], but the problem is that I can't get an ASP.Net control to render this as HTML. It only renders it as text.
The whole idea is to produce URLs that create hyperlinks to your site when stupid blogglers add your code to their page of opinons that matter not, yet are important to them.

Right now i am creating .html page dynamically and including in iframe of aspx page. it works fine ,but when i deploy it.on using https://I am getting errors in IE8 .. It works fine with IE7 and Firefox,so instead of giving the html file as source to iframe.., i want to try showing the html directly on aspx page.. rather than giving as a file..

I am trying to place a Paypal form on an aspx page under an item for sale.
It has the code:

It seems to make other parts of the page jump out of position and I can not seem to put it where I want it to be.

I was having trouble getting my shopping cart to connect to paypal. So I wrote a simple webform that has one button and one label. If I comment out the response.redirect(url) and look at the content that get written to Lable1.Text it looks find. Also, if I copy the content of the label and paste it into my web browser it goes to Paypal and displays correctly.
However, if I uncomment the response.redirect(url) I get the following error: ERROR: Unable to Send to PayPal - Thread was being aborted.
I am testing from localhost??? Should I be able to test this from localhost?
I have put ??? where my Sandbox email address is.....I don't know if letting other see that or not is an issue....otherwise I would have left it in for someone to try this code.

I got a form user can fill with data (strongly typed).
At the end of the form is 2 buttons (Save and Publish).
The form's data should be posted to different action methods, depending which button have been clicked.

I have a login web form with two textboxes for user name and pasword. The textboxes has a validator each and when I press the Login button everything is OK. I also have a second button which is used to redirect to a page for non logged in users. When I press that buon the form validators stops me from redirecting. How can I "use" validators for only one button and not the other?

I want to hide a few buttons on my web form using PrincipalPolicy. My applicaiton is on the webserver. When i run the first bit of code it retruns NT AUTHORITY/NETWORK SERVICE when i run the second bit it returns myWindowsDomainwindowsUsername. Why do these bring back different values? I would assume they would be the same..

I have several html buttons on my form which I have calling the same routine in my code behind.
For example:

I would like to replicate this functionality with the asp:DropDownList control i.e. I have several dropdowns which I would like to call the same code behind routine. However it seems that asp controls do not support the OnServerClick option. Is there a way to explicitly define which code behind routine to call on an asp control?

I have a formview that runs of an SQLDS, very simple stuff. Inside that form i have various fields, one of them is a credit field, one of them is a debit field. Now i have put a radio button list with two radio buttons (credit and debit). What i want to do is when the "credit" radio button is enabled i want the "credit" text box to be enabled and visa versa.
I know how to reference an object inside a formview, but i am confused, do i reference the radio button list and then the list items inside it or?

I have the following client side code in .aspx page within a datalist itemtemplate that takes questions from the database like this:

The output is like:
1) What is your age group?
- Option 1
- Option 2
- Option 3
- Option 4
The ID's of the radio buttons are dynamic ("Q" & QuestionID). If there is no answer to a question then the GetVisible function returns false and the containing panel is hidden.
I have been trying to get rid of the html and replace these with asp:radiobuttons but it is not possible to set id's from databinding.. only simply. I was trying something like:
<asp:RadioButton ID="Q<%#Eval("ID")%>" runat="server" Visible='<%#GetVisible(Eval("OptionA").Tostring())%>'
Text='<%#Server.HtmlEncode(Eval("OptionA").ToString())%>' />

I have a simple ASP.NET page that uses the VLC media player to play a video in IE. I also have four buttons to control the playback:
Play, Pause, Stop, and Mute
The four buttons call JavaScript functions that access the ActiveX control. When I click on any of the buttons, I get the following error in the JavaScript function:
"Microsoft JScript runtime error: 'vlc' is undefined".
However, if move the object tag for the vlc player outside the form tag, then the JavaScript works correctly, and I can control the video playback.
My question is why must the object tag be outside the form tag for this code to work correctly?
