Query DB And Update Check Box List On JS/jQuery Function?

I've come to a roadblock in my app and I'm not sure which way I should go. Currently, I have a slider control and two text boxes used to set the Start and End times of a section of a video. Let's say the video is of some Music Awards. In my database, I've tagged the start and end time of each celebrities on-screen appearance. When the user adjusts their start and end times on the page, I want to query the database table and pull back all celebrities within that range. The problem is I don't know how to do this in JS.
Can I use the Check Box List and bind the values to it? Do I need to render a table of Check Boxes in JavaScript? Do I call the Server-Side code via Ajax and then partially render the page?
i am developing a webaaplication ASP.net using C# and MYSQL as backend..
i am facing problem to execute this query in MYSQL:
SELECT ID, Date, Event, Remark, school, section, class, schooltype, shift FROM sessioncalendar WHERE (school = 'SECONDARY SCHOOL') AND (class = 'IX') AND (section = 'B') AND (shift = 'SHIFT I') AND (schooltype = 'XYZ School') AND MONTH ( Date )= '6'
AS the query works well wethout addind AND MONTH ( Date )= '6' ... but when i add this line query generate error
( Error in list of function arguments: ')' not recognized. Unable to parse query text.)
While same query is working successfully with Sql Server 2005...but i hvnt found any reason why my query is not working with Date(datetime) column..i hv google about it..but i found synatax is same in both SQL SErver 2005 and MY SQL syntax
I have a table called 'Customer' that contains customer information. One of the fields is named "CustomerType". Each record in the 'Customer' table will contain the value of either "C", "I", or "O".
I have a form that contains a "check box list" named "Type". There are 3 values in the "check box list". The values are "C", "I", and "O". The user can select one or more of these values. I have a button on the form named "btnRunQuery.
When the user clicks on the button "btnRunQuery" I want to exectute a query that selects the records contained in the "Customer" table where the value in the field "CustomerType" equal the values the user selected in the "check box list". Example: If the user selected "C" and "O", then I want the select query to select all records that contain either "C" or "O" in the field "CustomerType".
I assume that what I need to do is to capture the values that the user selected in the "check box list" and put them in a variable. Then I need to format the "Where" statement in the query and add a "Parameters.AddWithValue" command.
I am using jQuery for custom sorting my <ul><li> list.But I have a problem. I can sort and move those <li>-s but problem is I don't know how to update database with new order integers.Example of html ul li:

I have implemented successfully cascading auto complete with web service. But now I wanted do like if user type in the input box which is not available in the list of auto complete than at the lost focus of input box it should show some alert that it is not available in the auto complete list or i wanted to show some div as a alert. After some alert or div on bases of response if "yes" than I wanted to show some new DIV where he can add new record into database and that will automatically comes in the auto complete list and also should be selected in text box if response is "no" than text should be empty in the text box and cursor should be focus into the text box.
Showing DIV for entering data that I will do it but my problem is how to check the data enter is part of the auto complete list or not.
I have 2 asp:DropdownLists with an OnSelectedIndexChanged attribute. When that is triggered I would like to run a jquery funtion that would let the user know the data is being processed. How do I jump to my jquery function and is there a way I don't have to use the unique id?
I have 2 dropdownlists, the second (department) cascades from the first (division). I use a jquery script to update the second drop down list. When the user clicks submit, the underlying model is updated, apart from the new value for department. 2 ideas I have for fixing this are; a) Generate a postback. Prefer not to do this because of bad user experience. b) With a JQuery change event, make a call to server side and set a ViewData variable that I can use to update the field in the model later.
However there must be a better way. This is the view;
i manage to add recrod via jquery ajax call to webmethod but i want to update the dropdown list once the record is been added. i dont want to use update panel. what would be the best way of doing that.

My point is : my ldap path seems good, no error anymore, when I log with my username and password.But when I querry it, it returns null, but I'm sure my user is in the group :

I have a problem I am using a date picker ... jdpicker and I also tried with UI DatePicker and I keep getting this error "..." is not a function even though intellisense detects the function.My code is as simple as using the default options such as
$('#txtDate').jdPicker() or $('#txtDate').datePicker()
So the BlogPostTags table only contains 2 fields, BlogPostID and TagID.
When i run the query above i get 3 results back. Same blogpost 3 times but with 1 tag in each. It should return 1 post with 3 tags. The problem lies in the Tags query above.
I've exempted the irrelevant bits of code. Essentially, I am trying to change the URL of an image control inside of an update panel inside of a custom user control from a function called inside an update panel from my main page. Using UpdatePanel.Update() isn't working: I end up waiting for the next full page POST to occur before all the updates I make to CustomControl from buttons within the main page's update panel are visible. I verified that Update() was being called via the debugger: there are no issues in that department.
Here, you can see Custom Control and the Button declared. The button is in an update panel to avoid giving a full POST and causing the whole page to reload.
This control stores images within their own seperate update panels because rerendering the images is very slow (it requires processing arrays of millions of datapoints) and the user only ever needs to modify one image at a time. I'm using Image1 as an example.

But when I have a ListView or DataView, etc... with a pager, I get problems when I click on 'next page'.Then I get the error: Validation of viewstate MAC failed. When I don't use Jquery's load function, I don't get an error.

I would like to have and on sart event and an on end, that I could attach to a function. So when a function starts the event is triggerd and when the function ends an event is triggers. Where the event could be an function.
