The Calendar shows up when you click in the text box. And when it shows up it has no background. It is just letters and numbers, you click a number and that one appears in the textbox. I cannot use ToolkitScriptManager because the AjaxControlToolKit.ddl I have is old, I am afraid to download the newer version because this is for work and they told me to use that specific one. here is my code:

I have an AJAX Calendar Extender inside an ASP.NET Repeater, which binds date data from a table and allows users to change this. I have an issue however - if the date is null, it returns an error as it cannot bind null as a selected date. Are there any ways around this?
View 1 RepliesI've got two websites. One is a copy of the other, I even went ahead and remade a copy of the original a second time hoping it would alleviate the issue I'm having but it didn't.
On both pages I have a calendar so the route is

The issue is on the original site /Calendar works. It shows the Calendar page with the current month. On the copy site /Calendar gives a 404 but /Calendar/Index shows the Calendar page with the current month.
Why calendarExtender shows dirty calendar for the first time? (see the image) How to fix it?

View 1 RepliesI have a .net 3.5 web form with an ajax combo box and a text box inside it. The bombo box is bound to a SqlDataSource.
My requirement is to show/hide the text box depending on the text of the selected item in the combo box. If a particular string, say 'xyz', appears in the text of the selected item, the I will make the text box invisible. I enabled the AutoPostback, made the text box disappear in the SelectedIndexChanged event, and everything worked fine.
However, when users enter their own texts (which are not in the list items), I am unable to show / hide the text box. I've tried the TextChanged event but nothing happens. It seems the event is not trigger after I enter a new text and locate the focus to other place.
is there a way to prevent the user ented text from being inserted into the bombo box?
When a user selects an item from dropdownlist ,, certain dates (from DB) gets selected on Calendar automatically with the color pink >> This is working FINE The problem happens after that, when i want to select any other date >> the dates which were selected automatically before (that came from DB) get deselected !! I want them to stay selected, so i know which are the dates that already saved in DB ! So, the calendar is removing the programmed selected dates upon selecting a new date on the calendar object.

For example if user selects 02/02/10 when the page renders and finishes whatever is doing the calendar control display a date of 02/01/10. P.S I am NOT subtracting any days from the selected date.

I am using a text box and html image control and setting the TargetControlID to the test box id and the PopupButtonID to the image control name. When i click the first image the calendar pops up and without choosing a date if i click the second image the second calendar control opens on top of the first calendar control. In that tab container i have got three tab pannels. In the first tab pannel have got two drop down list boxes and one image control box. wat I was trying to do is that by using calendar extender control in ajax control toolkit i was trying to display a day in the first drop down list box and month and year in second drop down list box. when user click on image control during run time a small calender will pops up and then user will select the propective date according to there choice and when they have finish selecting the date from the calender a day will display on first drop down list box and month and year will display on second drop down list box.
I was keep trying to do that but i was failed. then i took one test box from the toolbox and i was got success in displaying the user selected date in the text box by using ajax calender extender. How to display that date instead of one textbox into two separate drop down list boxes from which a user can select manual date from drop down list as well and from the calendar as well also when the page loads, the two drop down list boxes must show current date ( by default)

While the text box of the first control is getting the correct date, the second one is loading up blank! But if i click on the control the ajax date picker that is shown has todays date highlighted in it.

I am trying to change the color of the text in the title of a Calendar Extender Control from the AJAX Toolkit. I was having trouble getting the hover color to change, so I followed an example from this site:

I am changing:

But the font color doesn't seem to work. If I omit the ".ajax__calendar_hover", then the title text is white (until you hover over it).
Is there a way to programmatically select the entire string of the selected item in the AJAX Combobox?What I'm trying to do is bascially on a State/City selection.
1. User selects a State from the first combobox. This triggers the City combobox to be populated. The item(0) is "Select One:".
2. I want the entire "Select One:" to be hightlight as if the user had used their mouse and highlighted all the text.
The reason for this that I'd like the user to be able to start typing the city without needing to clear out the "Select One:" manually.
We have a website which uses the calendar extender as the default date selection control, we noticed that whenever we try to select the date 30 April 2010, the control refuses and selects the previous date instead "29 April".
this looks so weired, but even trying to do the same with the Ajax Control Toolkit sample website results in the same problem too.
after many many trials, we noticed 2 things that could help you figure out what is the problem :
1- The problem only occures when Cairo local time is selected, any other time is OK.
2- This issue is not occurring in this date only, here what we discoverd
trying to select (30 April 2010) will select (29 April 2010) instead.trying to select (29 April 2011) will select (28 April 2011) instead. trying to select (28 April 2012) is working fine.trying to select (27 April 2012) will select (26 April 2012) instead.To reproduce the issue kindly follow these steps :
1- Change your computer's TimeZone to Cairo +2:00.
2- Try to reach any website which uses the calendar control ( for example

3- Try to select the mentioned dates ( 30 April 2010, 29 April 2011 and 27 April 2012 ) and see the results.
