I found this usefull code in this website but i was wondering a way to select a multiple names in textbox inside GridView. Â I have seen one exampe on this website but the example is not in GridView. Here is my code that works fine now but it does not let me select multiple names:

I like to use GridView because it is easy and flexible to work with. However, I found it quite frustration when it comes to display a column with a large chuck of words into the value of that particular column. Is there anyway to restrict how many words should only be display in a particular column rather than let it expands to cope up to display all the word. For example, I'm trying to display 20w and normally it would display

but I would like to limit to 5 words in a line so it's going to be

wwwww
wwwww

But i am unable to get the quantity in the textbox when i enter a quantity it is showing null into the tetxbox and i have different prices for the items when ever i enter quantity for a price i am getting only the starting price of the item.Another problem is when i click button once the page is getting posted back when i click second time the event is getting fired i dont know why?
I have been asking this for a long time.But the answer what i get is not want i need.I have a gridview with two template text box (t1 and t2) inside gridview and four textboxes outside the gridview on the form (txt1,txt2,txt3,txt4).All these textboxes allow only integer value to be entered.What i need is to get the total of all these textboxes (ie,template textboxes as well as textboxes outside gridview) in a textbox named Total at the same time we enter values in a textbox.Also if i change the value of a textbox later that too should be reflected in the Total textbox .I know how to calculate the total of the textboxes outside the gridview.But i need the total of all textboxes including template as well as textboxes outside simultaneously

I have a pretty basic search feature on a site that queries a sqldb with a sqldarasource, and then displays the results on a page, in a panel within a Repeater. I'd like to figure out if it's possible to somehow highlight the words the user searched on as they are displayed in the search results. The code below is my repeater. Do you know of any way to manipulate the Title or Description if the words in it's body match the words searched?

i have an datatable called orders. One of the columns is "OrderAmount" In the aspx, page I have a datalist and am using the {0:c} in the item template but it is not showing the £ symbol or the amount in correct number format.
In my datatable I am not sure if I need to use Int or Float.
