Forms Data Controls :: 2 Headers And After Some Sort Of Amount Of Records The Headers Will Repeat Again?

I have never work with a repeater and after a lot of research I got to the conclusion that this is the control I need to use for what I have to do. I need display data but I will need 2 headers and after some sort of amount of records the headers will repeat again. I have another 6-8 fields for the same listview. Due to the amount of fields, some of the field heads are wrapping and are not following the center alignment.
Is there a way I can center align the fields?Also, my listview does not sort. Is there something I am missing here?

when in database table have records then gridview binds and its showing records, But when there is no record in DB , instead of showing msgs that "No Data found." gridview doesn't appear.

1) Select the table
2) At the bottom of the screen, select a dropdown arrow beside column groups.
3) Enable "Advanced Mode" by clicking on it.
3) Then under Row Groups,select the static row and choose properties or press F4.
4) Set the following attributes for the static row or header row.
RepeatOnNewPage : True
KeepWithGroup : After
When we export the table report in SSRS 2008 as a word document, the table headers won't repeat when the table spans to multiple pages. The reason is the table report is exported as an inner table. So, Microsoft Word doesn't support header repetition for an inner table.

I wanted to have fixed headers in grid view. I came across multiple solutions but none worked with IE 8 and Chrome. One of the best solutions is following:

I have a couple of Textboxes in a Gridview header, mainly used to search for items in the dataset. This works fine; however, on Post Back, the textboxes do not hold the entered text. The View State is enabled for these control items.

I have a gridview that displays a list of records and i have a verical scroll bar on that grid i want the grid headers to be freezed when i am coming to the last record i added css like this

I'm trying to use a ListView to display product specs. I also want to display the group headings such as "Dimensions", "Input Ports", etc.
How do I display these group headers? My code below lists the specs but doesn't show me the header. If I put some static text however, that shows up. What am I doing wrong?

I tried to use ListView with following code to display 2 columns for name and address:

I've been trying for the past few hours to add mutliple headers to my grid view but keep failing to get it to show. There's plenty of examples online that I found but can't seem to get the most simplest to work. Below is the code I've been using with no success. I even tried changing the "TableCell" o "TableHeaderCell" but still yields no headers as expected. Anyone know what I could be doing wrong?

I have the following gridView and I would like to add a 'free format textBox' to 3 of the column headers, to allow filtering. Much like here If I could/somehow achieve this that would be amazing. I can't use dropDown lists like many of the examples I have found as these lists would be too populated and proving too unfriendly to use.

Newbie to ASP.net. Programming in C#.I'm querying a SQL database and displaying the results in a gridview. The results can be many records so I need to provide the facility to scroll vertically and horizontally. To display the headers when scrolling I have implemented ( in my asp code) the headers in another table and the data is in another table. I see now I cannot align the column headers with the table data.Appreciate any help to fix this issue. ( What I need is a similar to the freeze function in excel where you can freeze the header while scrolling horizontally and vertically)If this method is not a good one to display headers with data please suggest another methodHere is my ASP code.

I am trying to figure out the best way to dynamically map time retrieved from a stored procedure with the report headers. For example, if my ReportViewer Headers are the following:

I am trying to find a way to have the data dynamically map on the page in the correct location. 7:15 should be placed below the 7 header and between the 15 and 30 numbers as an example. Does any know how this might be coded using tables in the ReportViewer?

i have a gridview which is populated from a stores proc using pivot tables. The column are created dynamically apart from a total column which is created as a template field. the gridview looks like below:

i need to add a hyperlink to each gridview cell and when that cell is clicked pass the header text through the querystring to another page. I can access the cells value ok and pass that through but i cannot seem to access the cells column header text. when i response.write out a count of the gridview.columns it brings back 2 which is the template fields but not the dynamic fields i have tried this on the rowdatbound, rowcreated, page_load and page_unload. the count should be 12 its like it cannot find the dynamic columns at all. ?
