Forms Data Controls :: Checkboxlist To Retrieve Data From Database To Display Results In Gridview?

I have a page where I will insert all the data into the database. The page where I'm having problems is when I select an item from the checkboxlist it only displays one item. The data which is displayed is only the one that was inserted with one selected item from the checkboxlist. The following code is the page I'm using to try to retrieve the data from the database. I am trying to do is when a user selects the first, second, or third, or fourth item. The corresponding data appears in the gridview. In my current code, the record which has one item selected appears. If the user has more than one selected it does not appear. It comes up as empty. Is there a way I can do it?
How do I display results from my database on a gridview based on the selected row of another gridview.
For example, I have a e-shop web app and I have a product categories table in my database displaying the data on a gridview.
I want to be able to click on the select button on each row and use that event to populate another gridview based on the ID of the product category that is clicked. E.g say the 'CDs' row is clicked, another gridview shows all the different CDs.
As a result, I need the select(sql) statement for the second table to be dynamic based on what the user clicks.

I have an accordion panel using jquery ui. Each panel hold a product and each product has the same checkboxes..so depending on which product the user wants to download files for which he/she will indicate by opening the accordion panel for that product and checking which checkboxes/file they want to download . So how will I know which product the user clicked the checkboxes for being that I'm using this repeater which just one ID?

Here's another issue..I can't even assign values to the checkboxlist using databinding..so how am I suppose to do this.. Server Error in '/ArchitectView' Application. I can insert a checkboxlist selected value as comma delimited string into the database. But I have hard time to reload it in formview edit mode. I added a hidden label to retrieve the comma delimited string and try to use checkboxlist databound event, but it doesn't work. I don't know what problem is in my code.

The only method I can think of (from my limited experience!) is to have a separate VB function for each value, to run separate SELECT queries for each field, and then to set the (Text via asp:Label)

I am trying since more than 5 days to retrieve and display an image in a web page, no success so far.1. I have a table named image, with three fields ImageID, Img_data, Img_contenttype .2. I am able to display the ImageID as a link in my page.3. On clicking the link i am going to my viewImage.aspx?img=ImageID .This far it works ok. ImageID is passing in the query string.4. I am somewhat new at C# so forgive me if I have something listed wrong. This is what I got:
I am working on a school project designing a car dealership website. I have an inventory list that allows you to edit any car in the inventory. When you click on the edit button it takes you to the edit page and populates the controls with selections from the database. I have an options table that stores the VehicleID and Option ID. When the page loads it fills all the DropDownLists for the vehicle info with the data and selects the correct item according to the database selection but the CheckBoxList does not select the items that are on the Options table. I checked the query in SSMS and it returns the correct data. I have stepped through the method and it works till the "(currentCheckBox != null) if statement. It doesn't throw any errors but it also doesn't select items when the page renders.
I thought it might have been something with the page life cycle since databound controls don't render until the end but the DropDown's I have fill and selects the correct item according to the database.

I have a grid view attached to a custom query. The query selects data and the address data in the database is split into different fields like street_address1, mail_zip etc. etc. What I would like to do is display all the address data fields in my database in one field on the Grid View.

I am creating a kind of feedback website which has a feedback form on it. Each question is answered choosing from a radio button group. the answers to each question are (very good, good, bad, failed). I need to be able to create a table on the webform that will display the number of answers to each questions. for example, if the question is "Rate the use of this software" i need to be able to put in table format say 20 people said "very good", 30 said "good" etc. at the moment i only have one table to display the questions and answers and a date that will be used to select the date's report. so all the information i need is coming from this table. all i need to do is how to say like "SELECT Count* Question where Review date = "user entered date" and answer = "very good" etc.
