I have done this successfully in another project and seemingly copied the code from it to a new one, yet it doesn't work.

I have 3 gridviews in one of my web page, each of which will display different data based on the typeid. I have simplified the system structure in the image below(further description will be stated below the image):
As shown in the image above, the web site(presentation layer) will work closely with the Business Logic layer(BLL) and Data Access Layer(DLL). ObjectDataSource control will be the middle man to select, update, insert and delete the data in the gridviews.
During Select, returned data from the database at DAL will be stored in a datatable and return to BLL and then the website itself.

However, the Update(command button) and Delete(template field) doesn't work,the RowUpdating and RowDeleting event wasn't trigger when I click on the button, but it works if I set the gridviews' datasourceid to the objectdatasource.

I have to link any selected record from my gridview to a new pop up form i.e pass the query string to a new form, using a command button. The new button will allow the user to add new information about the particular record and save it. A detailsview form would not work as the information that needs to be added is quite complex. My GridView uses auto generate Edit & Delete command button. And then program the insert button. I want to do something when users click the Edit button so I wrote something like this:

When click the Insert button in the Footer, the program works fine. But when trying to click the auto generate Edit button, the following statement failed with the exception stated in the code above:

I have developed an application using Visual Studio 2008. I have a hirerchical gridview and on every row i have a "Payment" button which actually inserts a payment entry in database. Here is the sample screen of that gridview so u have an idea what i am doing. Problem is that whenever user pressed the button of "PAYMENT" it is inserting multiple records in database..it should only fire once and i am failed to understand why its firing multiple times. I've created an exact copy of this tutorial (vb) [URL] ....
However the delete click is not firing at all - I've removed the click confirmation too but the DeleteCustomers sub just isn't getting called. It compiles & runs fine with the edit/update actions.
I use imagebutton in gridview that when I click on it, it delete row of gridview..below is code...

but when I click on imagbutton it didn't do any thing..I put break point and checked @ID value that was "_page" and I checked IMG Delete. Command Argument value was "".I used .CommandArgument for Linkbutton in other page I don't know is it right to use it for imagebutton?
I have an UpdatePanel which has inside a detailsview, this DetailsView has a TemplateColumn with a UserControl.The UserControl has a NumericUpDownExtender and when the user clicks on an arrow or changes the value of the textbox a server event is raised (this is made by me, not default behaviour). I do this by using the add_currentChanged of the extender (in the javascript pageLoad function, and remove_currentChanged (in the javascript pageUnload function) and implementing the interface ICallbackEventHandler in the UserControl. My problem is that when the user click on the arrow, the event is raised twice and the correct value is overwritten.

I have Repeater in usercontrol and Inside the repeater i have 1 itemtemplate in which i have ImageButton on it. Also i am handling the Click event on the Imagebutton using ItemCommand of the Repeater. when i click the image button it fires the item_command on the codebehind which is fine. But if i use !Ispostback on page load to stop loadinghte databind event again which is in pageload, it's not firing the Item_Command Event.
If i remove the !Ispostback from my page it's doing the pageload event againt which has calling my databind method and then it calls the Item_commands event. Wondering is this kentico issue or usercontrol problem?
i have two nested gridview inside an update panel. there is a button called btnPhoneEdit inside the child grid view. when the button gets clicked, it do cause partial post back as expected but it fails to invoke btnPhoneEdit_Click.

That message popup box comes, but i'm unable to catch that click event. while click on a row i want to delete that row, so want to create event dynamically. for that i've used this following dynamic click event

I have a master page containing a ScriptManager control, and a Content Page containing a ScriptManagerProxy Control. Further on the content page I have an UpdatePanel control containing a GridView control and a server side button control.
