I have 3 tables(Status,Clist,longlead) having "WOnumber" common column in 3 tables and 3 web forms(status.aspx,Clist.aspx,longlead.aspx), on main page(status.aspx) i have buttons to redirect the clist.aspx and longlead.aspx to give the inputs and save it to database.I have button called scheduleReport on status.aspx when i click this button I want the values from Clist table and longlead table of corresponding WONumber values should be listed either in word or pdf.on the top of the report it should have WONUmber.
I'm creating entity on a project to use them as data on my website. I got my base simple entity Users and my DataContext. The thing is i would like the database to create the table as i create Entities.
I mean, actually my database doesn't have a Users table and do not generate it as i build and launch the project. I used to be a Java dev and in Java the table can be created with JPA so i guess Microsoft made it possible with ASP.net but how to do? I've looked on the web but didn't find it.

I want to generate a report that consists of X no. of gridviews (X can vary) where each gridview is added one at a time using ajax (to avoid timeout of rendering all gridviews in single post back). I am also hoping that when rendering the next gridview a progress bar/timer can also appear in it's place until it's finished processing and is rendered.
Does anyone know how I might tackle this? I wouldn't have a problem doing this in a single post back but now the reports are timing out I need to generate the report piece by piece dynamically.

I have problem when i create a crystal report. follow the requirement from customer, i need to show a report that list all data of 3 tables that it does not have any relationship between them in only one Report. It will show:

I have a table with a field "item id" that I am joining to two other tables that have multiple records for each item id. In other words, I have 1 item id, 5 records in another table tied to this item and 5 records in another table tied to this item. I am trying to build a report that shows the item and then follow the item with two groupings. Each group would of course have the 5 records per the other two tables. Here is my problem. I can get the report to show an item and one of the detail group of 5 records but for the life of me I cannot get the second group of 5 to group and print. Both groups of 5 get either lumped together or it will print them 1 record at a time switching back and forth. How do you do this? Do I have to do something special in the Sql query or something.

I have an C# ASP application I am writing that needs to have the capability to import a generated excel or a comma delineated sheet each day. A clerk will have this job each morning so it doesn't need to be automated. My problem in trying to understand the solution to this is that the 1 sheet contains loan information, including customer information all in the same sheet. I would like to send certain columns to update information in the loan table and send other information to update the customer table.
