Security :: How To Automatically Send User To Login Page When FormsAuthenticationTicket Expires

I'm using Forms authentication in my application but I'm not using the Membership that's built into .NET.
How do I automatically send user to login page when his/her FormsAuthenticationTicket expires? I just don't want a user log in and leave a page on their computer screen long after their session has expired. I'd like to make sure that as soon as the user's
FormsAuthenticationTicket has expired, I send them to login page.
How can I send a user to a login page for login where you don't have control(like windowslive) and then after authentication return to the original page?
In myapplication i have done a thing like if some one purchase a tool for and if the license provided is for some few days (suppose for a week or an year).. How to send a mail automatically to the ID given by him before a day or a few days .
Some actions such as posting a comment require login. It may timeout and the user may be redirected to a login page. With get data i can easily put the query in something like action=PrevPageUrlAndQuery. However with POST data i have to do something more complicated.
So is there a way i can make the page go backwards so all the user needs to do is click that post button again? Instead of displaying a page saying please hit back and resubmit your comment (more clicks + reading makes me slightly sad)
I am not sure what the event is called but I'm trying to get it so if your not logged in you can't manually type the page name in the bar at the top. I need to find a way so it will always redirect you to the login page if you haven't signed in.
Also the same goes for sessions, at the moment when my session time runs out my website fails as there is alot linked to sessions from my database, how do I get it so when a session expires upon trying to navigate inside the website you are passed back to the login page?
I got a role call "Staff", staff registration is done by admin so when creating a new staff only need their name, user name, password and e-mail. After registering, i wan to redirect the staff to the creating profile page to input their contact number and self-description which is a must for later use. For first time login staff, how do i compare and see if the contact and description profile is empty or not? If it is empty, then redirect to the create profile page, else just go to staff page.
I trying to do like making each different role redirect to their own page once they had login. For now when the user login they will remain in the same page showing the login template. How do i do that?
Once user enter credentials i want his name to be appear on top.User should be maintained through out the pages of website until he choose to sign out.And also diff users will have diff access to some parts of website, like only manager can delete the content.

Hi creating a simple blog site where u can login and save blog entries. I want to use the loginname control to automaticly save the username of the one entering the blog.
I facing a problem here. how can I make the create user wizard category all the new user become normal user role? I have created 2 role which is Manager and Normal User. Normal User can't view the Manager page. But after i create a new user account, i can view manager and normal user page. I want to make all the new member registration will be normal user role?

I have written custom code for login and logout...When use clicks on logout button the current session is closed and user is redirected to a login.aspx page...The problem is that when a user click a back button on internet explorer it the previous page he was navigating is shown to him...(altough he cant perform any operation as session is null and their is condition in page load that if session is null user should be redirected to login page)May i have to clear cache of client ??
i m currently creating an article module, and i want if user wana comment on to the any particular artical, than he should login any of his mail id like gmail, yahoo hotmail etc and than post his or her comment and after than comment should go into the DB.
In my web application i want to redirect to login page, which is in the same folder[admin folder], when i type like "xxx.com/admin" it is redirect to login.aspx page which is in admin folder. for this i place one index.html page and write meta tag code, even though it is not redirect to loginpage. it is going to index.aspx page. shall i have to remove this index.aspx page, i have default page also there in admin folder.
