Is there any way that I can get the list of All the available shortcut key options listed from within IDE itself in Visual Studio 2008/2010? Because every time I used to bing and find on web for that.

There is no way I'm the only one who thinks that I'm missing such a shortcut in Visual Studio.In the markup (aspx) I begin writing the event name "On..." then choose the event I need. What I'm looking for now is functionality for auto-inserting the event name and the delegate method in the codebehined exactly as it's done from the Design view.It's a simple and very helpful functionality that's obviously missing - or I havn't been able to localize it yet.Does any one know if it can be done in VS? Maybe using ReSharper?

currently Ctrl+X (without selection) does this.But it also removes clipboard to empty text.
isnt there a shortcut Just deletes current line and 1 line upward next lines without clearing Clipboard ?
I'm used to redo being ctrl + y but in vs 2008 that deletes a line. redo in vs 2008 is the awkward shft + alt + backspace combination.

View 1 RepliesI have just the Express version of VS2010 so no option to attach to process. I am developing a custom DotNetNuke module which runs fine by itself, but has problems when running once installed as a module in DNN. Hence I need to attach to the DNN process and see what is going on. I don't have DbgCLR.exe as it looks like they stopped including that in .NET 3.5 Framework...and I don't want to risk installing .NET 2.0 framework and mess up my dev environment.

I have tried creating different release versions and cannot see the option, also have no new options for publish, just look like the VS2008 ones.
Is there some service pack or pack that i need to install these or does it sound like a reinstall?

View 5 RepliesI just recently upgrade my asp.net web project from visual studio 2005 to visual studio 2010. The upgrade was successful with no problems however im missing some features with this project. The One Click Publish feature(which is greyed out) in the header area of Visual Studio 2010 and the Add Config Transforms feature which is no where to be seen when you right click on web.config. When i create a new web project straight from visual studio 2010, these options work fine.
View 1 RepliesVisual Studio 2010 Beta 2 locked up, and when I tried to restart it, it wouldn't load, so I did a devenv.exe /resetuserdata to get it going again. It reset everyhing in my options of the web app/ etc, and now some AJAX conrols don't work such as dragpanel. I assume that it is because something got reset that I haven't enabled again, but can't figure it out.

In my investigating i have come across number of tools(shown below) to use with Visual Studio 2008 professional
Development tool:- Visual Studio 2008 professional using Subversion as source control tool. Continuous Integration:- Hudson or Cruise control Build tool:- NAnt Testing:- NUnit, Selinium As Visual Studio 2008 can be used for unit testing I think NUnit is out of consideration.
In the same way i would like to have any other tools/add-ons to Visual studio to implement continuous integration, building and unit testing. This process should be automated such a way source code between team members is continuously integrated, built and unit testing is done as configured.
Objective is to use few number of tools as add-on to Visual Studio or achieve most from Visual studio itself (example unit testing). Visual Studio should be all in one tool.
I am aware that Team Foundation Server best suits my requirement, but it is out of scope due to its cost.
