I want to make a textbox with a specific style, within this style a set of images as background parts, how can i attach these images to the custom control as whenever i take the .dll file and add it to the toolbar the images do not appear. So i tried to make them as resource files and their property as embedded in .resx file, so how to make the css style background image url to be linked to any of those image.
I'm having trouble accomplishing the above. Below is all the mark up and code. I'm not getting error messages, but the validate image function is not working (fileupload portion is working ok).
In my attempt below---not sure if it's the simplest or best validation approach anyway---the "UserId" parameter appears during rendering to be empty---but in most methods I have it successfully containing or referring to the logged-in user's identification.
Following is the control that refers to the image field (page = advertisement.aspx):
I've looked at replacing the ImageButton web control with a simpler HTML img tag (which is what the PopBox documentation suggests). Yet, I don't know how to populate an <img> tag from the CodeBehind file. Here is a typical statement which sets the .SRC property from an ASP.Net dataset row:
Visual Studio 2008 does not complain about this declaration above but in the codebehind file, how would I address this so I could populate the .Src attribute.
Intellisense, cannot even "see" this Me.imgPicture.src = theUrl 'this won't compile...
I added this at the top of the codebehind but seemed to have no effect:
I just want to know how to capture an image using asp.net server side.
My code runs smoothly and captures the image when I'm running it in localhost, but when if I published or deployed it in our web server then access it tru its url, it doesn't work or i can't capture the image.
I have an SQL 2005 db with a table named "industry_suppliers."
I've created a query to enable someone to search this table using 3 parameters.
The results need to be grouped by "product_description" (which is essentially a category). When displayed on an .aspx page, for example, the results need to look like this:
Apples
Acme Apple Company Bradbury Orchards Oranges A1 Citrus Company Belfast Growers, Inc Bradbury Orchards
Notice how "Bradbury Orchards" is repeated under both categories. This is the result I want, EXCEPT in cases where someone wants to filter the search results by category. Let's say someone wants to search just for apple suppliers. The problem I'm having is that any record that appears under apples will also get listed again under any other categories associated with that record. So, searching for apple suppliers, the results are this:
Apples Acme Apple Company Bradbury Orchards Oranges Bradbury Orchards
I'm having trouble figuring out how to revise my query to avoid this problem.
I am creating new custom command button control derived from asp.net command button. In my custom control I want to set two images (i.e. one from left and one from right). In center command text will come. I tried background image property using css. But I won't work out for me. The image is coming left but the actual command button style is lost and the second problem is I could not able to set image on right side.
I'm looking for a piece of code to convert an HTML file or code to an image file. I tried to do some search on google, I found a few but it only works on Windows application not web (asp.net).I'm basically trying to convert a formatted html page to an image at the server side.

I am using a panel whose background image is set. Though I dont want the background image to get tiled but it should stretch inside the panel. How much ever small the image is, it should get stretched and fit to panel according to the size of panel. How do I get this functionality??Please note that there is a specific reason that I want to stretch the panel background image and I cannot use any <img> tag.
