Web Forms :: How To Setup Individual Search Buttons To Be Triggered Using Enter Key

I am using the TabContainer control on my page.. i have 3 tabpanels within it that are used for 3 different types of searches..After meeting with the client yesterday it was brought to our attention that once you complete the fields you want to search on and hit enter nothing happens..Is there a way to enable the enter key for the buttons? And if there is, can it be setup so it triggers the correct button? I say this because on the page, even though there are 3 tabs each with their own submit button. Outside of the tabcontainer, we have
another button that is used to save the search criteria for later use. So on the page there are 4 submit buttons
I have an html button that makes a certain action and i have two "asp:textbox"I want the html button to be triggered when the ENTER key is pressed on keyboard.
I have created a form with several textboxes and a dropdown list and assigned a required field validator to each of them. I also have a master page with several links to other pages, some made using <a href=..> and some linkbuttons. The problem I am having is that when I click the linkbutton links they do not redirect to the proper page, rather they trigger the validators for all textbox fields and display the validator characters next to each textbox (and the dropdown). When I fill out the form, those links redirect properly. The links created using <a href=..> do not cause this problem.
I've a Username and Password TextBoxes, and more than one ImageButton in the page, so while I type the password, press enter, it presses another ImageButton than the Login ImageButton in my page.
How can I choose which ImageButton function to fire when pressing Enter while in the Password TextBox?

I have an SQL table which looks similar to the following:

Let's say I wanted to find the name of a book that has the tag 'clowns' in it...how can I do this? 'clowns' is a substring of the tag for 'title1'...but how do I search for substrings? I have tried to use the "LIKE" keyword but obviously it doesn't work in this situation.
Requirements call for the ability to save search values so that they can select them at later times to return the results without having to re-enter the values. They have the ability to search on 4 different types of data (Date, Time and Lat/Long), so they would like to capture what was entered and ONLY if they chose to save those values, it will be saved and next time they login, if they are searching, they can pick an old search and submit it again.
Im thinking that i add a checkbox next to each button, if they check it, it saves the data into a table with there values and username. Next time they login and go tothe search page, if there are any records for them in the table, i present them with a link that displays all the values stored and if they select one, it will run the search again and present them with the results. does that sound like the right way to handle this request?
I have a page with several asp buttons defined on a Master Page. I only wish these buttons to be activated when they are selected by the mouse click. I have one button on the content of the form, that is the button I want to execute if the user hits enter and it is selected or they use the mouse. So in a nutshell. how do I stop the buttons on the master page from executing unless the user mouses them?
I have a problem, i have a gridview populated with items and in the pager i have controls for previous and next and a dropdownlist that shows the total number of pages. I also have a search function to search for item.
if i for exemple search for *egg* i get a number of results and the ddl is populated with total number of pages for the searchterm. but if i click on the button for "next" the search result disapear and i get all the pages back (because of the postback) but how do i do to keep the state of the īsearch so that i can use the next and previous buttons and the ddl listing of pages, depending on the search?
I've got a webform in asp.net 3.5 that has two submit buttons. Each button has a corresponding textbox controlTextBox1 and Button1TextBox2 and Button2Button1 appears first on the page.When the user is entering text in TextBox1 and presses the <enter> key, the event handler for Button1 is fired appropriately. However, I want my users to be able to click the <Enter> key while Textbox2 has the focus, and have the event handler for Button2

By default, the search button is aligned to the txtAccountNumber (next to txtAccountNumber)
If option 2 is selected, the search has to align to txtLastName, and other txtboxes are visibly disabled If option 3 is selected, the search has to align to txtZipcode. and txtboxes are visibly disabled

how can i separate words in db column separated by enter key. I am entering data in a multi line textbox directly to db, and i want to search a word in that column. I'm having trouble setting up a custom NEW User Screen. Here is my situation, I have a Request for Access Screen that uses the CreateNewUser Wizard Control. I want to leave the Question and Answer for this, however I also want a custom NEW User Setup which I build myself to allow the system administrators to setup users, but for this setup I don't want the administrators to have to pick the question and answer for the NEW user, so I would like to bypass this for this setup. However, my Membership.CreateUser keeps asking for it. How can I accomplish this? I've included a copy of my current web.config file. You will notice a AspNetAdminMemberhip which I use to allow the System Administrators to reset passwords.
I would like to know if its possible to have different cultures for every UserControl, en-US culture in the first and he-IL or da-DK for the second one.
Am having a tough time isolating an individual element in an array in the "if" statement at the bottom. I'm trying to check and see if that value of the first element of the array is "1."
When I try to build I get an error on the line with the "if" statement:
Error 14 Cannot implicitly convert type 'object' to 'bool'. An explicit conversion exists (are you missing a cast?)
