But if I change my condition to Not selected, the string does build, with every item in the list. So the Sub is reached, the items and their text and values are seen, but user selection of items doesn't work. What am I missing?

I'm trying to populate 1000 ListItems in a ListBox.
how to do it. Currently only 100 items are being displayed even though I set the capacity of the ListBox to 1000.
Below is sort of how my code looks like. :)

Code does not generate any error. only that at the end of the loop I only get 100 items mapped to my ListBox.
Is this how the ListBox is designed for?
I am currently attempting to set a default value on an INSERT of a ListBox to a QueryString value. I am able to do this successfully in a DetailsView, however, it doesn't seem to work for a ListBox. Here is my code:

I have a ListBox in a WebPart called 'WebPartSelect'. This WebPart appears on each webpage.

e.g. the ListBox has 3 values - a, b, c. The user select value b. When they visit another webpage I want the ListBox to be defaulted to their selection - 'b', and to display data relevant to this selection.
I have built one of those 2 listbox things where the items in the left textbox can be selected and moved to the right list box. The items in the list can be thought of as tasks (like Raise Invoice, Call Client, Deliver goods etc) The rules of this are that the item you move to the right box remains in the left box. Reason being, you are allowed to add the same item from the left to right as many times as you like. An example what the list on the right might look like is this.

Now I have added the feature to select an item on the right and hit the UP button, to move it up in the list. For example I could select 'Deliver Goods' and hit the up button. (the down button works as expected)

Despite having the items at the bottom of the list selected, the .Selected property is true on the first instance of the item that happens to have the same .Text and .Value.
I have a asp.net web form in which I display registered customers in a listbox. In the listbox I can choose one customer, and click a "Show data"-button. That should display all registered data about the chosen customer in textboxes next to the listbox. This doesn't work and I haven't been able to find where the error lies. Instead of displaiyng the data in the textboxes the error message in: LabelNoCustomerChosen is displayed. Could it be that the program doesn't find the customer ID? The string that is displayed in the listbox looks like this: ID Lastname, Firstname

As you can see in the picture below i've got a Page control with inital letters which cotains a listbox showing different wood articles. When i click on a Tab, the selected tab page get's a new Listbox control with the wood articels starting with the selected initial letter.

When i click on a item inside the listbox, following code will be executed:

So far, it works fine for me. But when i change the selected Tabpage, the first SelectedIndexChanged in the listbox in the new shown tabpage is not recordnized. That means i have to select a new item and click on Search = the selected Item is still the item i selected before i changed the tab. Then i select the item again and click on search the index changed is recordnized. So why do i have to click two times on search to get the new selected item after a tab page changed?
